Chapter 4

Introduction

By this point we are all confused as to what is going to happen to me now. I mean why me? What could make me so dang special that this sexy ass man had to come kidnap me? Anyways let's continue.

Blake had been sitting outside for quite some time now. He told me to stay in the living room. I didn't wanna take orders from someone i had just met, but this sounded urgent. Like it was something he needed to go fix right now. of course i'm not gonna stay in the living room tho. I wanted to find more answers as to what was going on. I rummaged around a few file cabinets in another room making sure not to be too loud. everything looked the same, except a little yellow file in the bottom drawer. I picked it up and plopped it on the chair next to me. Before i could open the file the front door opens. I rush to put the file away before Blake could say anything to me. "Madzie? where are you?!" Blake yelled. "i'm right here!" i say. "What the fuck were you doing?" he said in an angered voice. "i- i was looking for the bathroom.." i said. "I had told you where the bathroom was before i went outside" "i know im sorry i forgot where it was" i said backing away from him. "Madzie you know i don't like when you lie to me" "im sorry i got bored and was looking in different rooms" i said. "promise me you'll never do that again" he said looking at me with full eyes. "i- i promise.." "good, now let's get going." he said darting towards his bedroom. He then came out 5 seconds later with a fresh pair of clothes on. "h- how did you-" "don't ask" he said walking to the door.

I walk slowly behind him as he swings the door open. "Today will be your first training day at the academy i want good behavior and no messing around". I smirked at him and laughed a little. "that wasn't a joke madzie." he said looking down at me as he walked along side. I couldn't believe this man thinks he has control over me. We had only just met a day ago. He then grabbed onto my waist and we evaporated to the academy. "I'd like a warning next we do that please" i say trying to stand up. "how do you stay standing during that anyways" i say. He smirked "lots of practice" He held out his hand to help me up. We made our way into the academy. These people looked weird.. they looked human but stronger. "Try not to stare" he said walking around the corner. we finally made it to a room with dark walls and a sword in the middle. "what is this place?" i asked. Blake hasn't been wanting to answer any of questions but i think it's fair that if he was gonna put me through this then i should know a little abt what's going on. "Madzie, you are a sorcerer, now you are a little late on your training.. or really anything. but it's not your fault that your parents hid this from you" he said walking toward the door and shutting it. I was shocked. i hadn't known any of this at all. Are my parents like this too? i wonder. "Blake how long have my parents been hiding this?" "since you were 7" he said. "WAIT WHAT" i said with wide eyes. "how can my parents be hiding this for 11 years of my life?!" "Madzie please calm down, your parents are not sorcerers themselves. They tried to hide the fact that you were one, unfortunately it doesn't always work like that. you are severely behind on your training and i'm here to help you" he said walking towards me.

I'm not sure what to expect from this academy but i don't think it's a nursing degree. "When will my life go back to normal?" i ask. "Madzie, there is no going back to normal. We have already contacted your parents and friends. As far as they know you've passed away in a car accident" he says to me. My face drops and i collapse to the floor crying. "H-how can you just do this to me" i said sobbing. Blake tries to grab me but i get up and run from him. "Madzie please do not make this harder then it needs to be" he says in a soft tone, i'm assuming to make me calm. "No please get away from me" i say running to the door. "Madzie that isn't going to work" he says "the door is locked" "please let me go" i say slowly sliding down the wall to the floor. Blake sits in front of me and grabs my hands. "Madzie i know this is hard but you have so much potential here in our world. I don't want you being upset, you have so much training to get done" he says squeezing my hands. "I don't want to be here" i say sniffling. "Madzie i'm sorry but i'm afraid you don't have a choice" he said pulling me up. I didn't want to stand up so i let my legs loose causing Blake to catch me. He wraps his arms around me and stares into my eyes with a grin. "Oh Madzie you have so much to learn, i know you're strong so please act strong" he said letting go of me. "I'm sorry i'm just not ready to let everyone go, i mean who am i gonna be friends with. Who will i talk to and who will make me laugh when i need it." Blake smiles as if the answer was right infront of me. "I may be your trainer but i'm also roomies with you!" he said excited. "Oh that's great.. my mom would be so proud" i say looking at the ground
