Quietly Stan padded down the hallway after Wendy. She was madly giggling to herself as she held onto Red's arm. Occasionally she would glance back at Stan. Her hand would slip away hesitantly, but it always found its way back against Red.

Stan sighed to himself and rubbed at his arm nervously. The third bell rang out fiercely, causing Wendy to jump in surprise. Now it was Red's turn to laugh, before she received a friendly slap against the shoulder. With a smile, Red turned to Stan and gave him a wave once she had wiped away her friendly tears.

"See you at lunch, Scoot." She said, still holding up a grin. Stan gave her a small wave back, along with a gentle smile. Wendy elbowed Stan against his arm in a lighthearted way before she teetered away with Red.

"See you..." Stan mumbled quietly. He watched the girls walk away until they became two fashionable blobs off in the distance. Stan looked away from them and turned towards his own class. He shoved his hands into his pockets and began to walk the opposite way.

He could see other students running along to get to where they needed to be. Stan would smile at a few if they glanced to him, but he mostly kept his head down as he walked. Another bell rang out more quietly. It served as a reminder of the time.

Stan grimaced lightly before he picked up the pace a little bit. His class was only one turn away, but he still wanted to hurry. Stan walked a little faster now. The brick wall came to an end. He went to turn, but he ran into something instead. Or rather he ran into someone instead.

"Fuck! Watch it!" They exclaimed in shock. Stan jumped back immediately. His heart began to speed up in his chest as he peered up to see who it was. Craig stood there. His face twisted into a guilty smile once he realized who he had yelled at.

"O-Oh Stan, uh sorry..." He trailed off quietly. Craig went to touch Stan against his arm as an apology pat, but he then decided against it. He left his hand hanging awkwardly in the air. Coughing to himself nervously, Craig tucked his hand away into the front pocket of his jeans.

"Don't apologize, it was my fault." Stan chuckled awkwardly. Craig shifted uneasily as Stan glanced to him. Some of the few straggling students hurried by quickly so they wouldn't be late. Craig figured he should be doing the same.

As Craig went to step away, he paused. He could feel Stan's longing blue eyes against his skin. Stan gave him a quiet wave goodbye before he began to walk by. Craig turned away too. He took a few heavy steps before he turned around quickly.

To Craig's surprise, and benefit, Stan was glancing back at him instead of walking away. Stan's eyes widened a little bit as Craig quickly neared him.

"Meet me... after lunch." Craig said firmly. His gaze appeared stern, but his flushed face betrayed the look he was going for. Stan stood there blankly before he nodded.

"Okay!" Stan smiled genuinely. Before Craig could slip away again, Stan pulled him into a greatly needed hug. Craig froze up. His face flushed bright red as he fumbled to return the embrace. The door against the brick wall began to close as the two teenagers shared a hug.

The teacher stood there, her hand rested against the door knob. Stan quickly pulled away and left his hand to linger against Craig's. The woman cleared her throat and began to cross her arms over her chest.

"After lunch." Stan whispered with a slight smile. Craig nodded to him before Stan ran away. He watched idly, rubbing at his hand as Stan apologized to the teacher. Before he could slip in a final wave goodbye, the woman shut the door sternly.
