A new chapter

Caroline : Mom...stay healthy I'll be healthy and I'll earn alot of money and makes you happy
Mom : of course my aline .. I'm so lucky to have you as my daughter ...
Caroline : take care I'll call you later mom I love you
3 hrs later

Caroline got a call from Merlin
Merlin : are u there aline? ( Aline short name given to Caroline by her dad )
Caroline : yes..can you come pick me up ?
I'm so tired ..
Merlin : ok I'll call you once I reach at the airport..
.........
Caroline : Merlin can I work at your office ? As you know I'm Creative and good at writing
Merlin : well ..if you are willing to work with me and yes our company will be recruiting some employees day after tomorrow..give it a try
Caroline : is it ?
Soon they reach Merlin apartment
Merlin : bydaway did you call your mom she'll be worried
Caroline : well I did ...(in a sigh)
Merlin : is everything alright? Tell me if you need anything .
Caroline : just ..as usual
A brand new day in a cities
Merlin :  aline...do you want to go on a date ?
Caroline : a date ? With who?
Merlin : this little preety me
Caroline : ohhh ..sure my lady
Merlin : go get dressed up ..I'll let you know the blinking blinking lights of the cities .

Caroline : ok give me a few mins (Caroline wink her eyes in a smile)
Merlin : that's where I fall for you (Merlin wink her eyes too)
Merlin : are you feeling better ?
Caroline : ummm.. thanks
Shall we have a cup of coffee Merlin.?
Merlin : sure
Caroline : Back in the college days ..no one wanted to hang out with me as I'm poor . You were my only friend. Thank you Merlin you always make me smile even though I couldn't give you anything back.
Merlin: Aline stop talking like a grandma .
You were always and always will be my friend . You don't need to thank me ..for that . I just love your simplicity and personality .....that's how I choose my friends
Caroline : alright so shall we go home now ? it's getting late ...we also need to do some groceries shopping so ...
Merlin : oh right ..
2days later
Merlin : wake up aline you'll be getting late for the interviews
Caroline : oh right ...give me a few mins it won't take much time
Merlin : ok be quick
Merlin : they'll call you up.. don't be scared and nervous . tell them what you. Just feel ....and how much you love this job and call me up when it's done .
Caroline : ok
5 hours later
Caroline : Merlin....!
Merlin : yes how is the interview ?
Caroline : well not bad I think I'll be hired
Merlin : hmmm not a bad news.
Call your mom she will be so happy and wait me at the cafeteria and have something there ...my work will be over soon..
Caroline :ok I have to call mom Take care
Caroline : mom I went for an interview.
And I think I'll be hired ..
Mom : that's really a good news for us ...you did well my daughter .
Your brother will be so happy about it
Caroline : hmmm right after all I'm your daughter ..hmm I just missed dad.
Mom: aline your dad will be so proud of you. He is not with us anymore yet he  will guide everywhere you go ..
Caroline : right I shouldn't be shaken by the problems we are having I should be happy as I still have you mom..when I earn alot I'll let you travel the whole world ...I love you ..
While Caroline was having a coffee she crossed the road with a guy called Ethan. A good looking guy ...
Ethan : excuse me miss can you share your table with me ? Since all the tables are full ...if you don't mind
Caroline : that's ok have a sit ..
Ethan : are you here for the interviews?
The dress code seems so..
Caroline : well yes ....
Ethan : ok you seems uncomfortable ...
Caroline : abit ..(murmuring : what a strange guy? How could he talk to me so comfortably)
Ethan : hmmm we both may cross the road again I mean if we both get hired ..
Caroline : ...hmm (murmuring : so what if we crossed the road? )
Merlin came ..
Merlin : aline ..do you know him?
Caroline : no we just share a table that's all
Merlin : ok ( Merlin whisper he seems so. Comfortable with you it's strange let's go)
Caroline : right ...Let's go
While they are in the cab
Merlin : aline you should be very careful with the cities guy ..we couldn't judge them just by their looks and how they talk. They are just a sweet talker..
Caroline : urrrghhh .. just by looking at them i got a goosebumps there's no way that I will date with a cities guy.
Merlin : that's how we all fall in their trapped but I trust you ...aline ..I just don't want you to be one of thAt womAn who suffers from those people ..
Anyway I can't wait to see you working at my office ...
Caroline : ...I hope i get hired ...so that I can brag you and I'm expecting a gift from you  if it went well...
Merlin : humhum the gift is right here Infront of you . It's me ..
Caroline : hmm I was thinking about something else well if you insist I can't deny it...
Merlin : you are a girl full of package.
You looks pretty, gorgeous, attractive and has a good personality no wonder why that guy talks to you so comfortably.. sometimes learn how to be rude ...
Caroline : are you jealous that I was talking to that guy .. don't worry this girl is always yours .....
After two days of interview Caroline got a mail an appointment letter from the company asking her to join the office by tomorrow .
Caroline : Merlin .. Merlin
Merlin : aline why are you shouting ?
Caroline : I got hired ...we will be working together....
Merlin : I knew it that's my girl ...go get dressed up ..you need a  glow up now...and some new dresses...
Caroline : are you really buying me a gifts?
Merlin : of course I had prepared this from the very beginning ...and call your mom ...
Caroline family were so blessed to have her and Merlin was so happy for her..
