Coffee - [ ZNN ]

Nunew's POV

"Sawadee kha! Welcome to Noona Café" i greeted a customer with a smile, "Sawadee krub, uhm what's your best sellers here?" she asked, looking at the menu as I took out my notepad.

"Oh uh, our best seller here is the 'Cookies & Cream Milkshake' right here kha.." i pointed it as she hummed "Okay then, I'll order two. But the other one is for take-out na" I wrote it on my notepad, nodding "Krub, it'll finish in about five minutes.." i said before leaving.

"Russ! Two cookies and cream milkshake!" i said "Coming right up!" he replied.

Hi, I'm Nunew Chawarin, a 23 year old waiter at my Café. I love my job so much, I love making people's day better. But I don't work alone, I work with Russell who just started working at my Café a few days ago. And as an introvert, I don't usually talk too much.

- Later -

I sigh, looking at Russell who was wiping his sweat with a tissue. "Hey" i said, walking towards him as he looked up to me.

"You look tired, how about I take over being cashier and barista while you take over mine?" i asked, smiling softly as he shook his head 'No'

"It's fine Khun Nunew, I'm not that tired and plus, being a barista is too much work for you, so it's okay." he replied as I hum "I insist. Come on now, take my notepad"

"Khun Nu-"

"Being a waiter is more easy, it's only for a few hours"

He then sigh in defeat, nodding as he took my notepad from my hand. Soon I heard someone come in but I didn't raise my head because I was fixing cups.

"K-Khun Nunew.." i raised my head seeing Russell run back to me making me frown. "Can you do it instead?" he asked making me scoff

"Why? It's just a customer" i replied as he sigh "He looks.. Scary to me.." he mumbled as I peeked behind him seeing a guy, sitting down on a chair while smoking. I frown, did he not see the sign?

"Alright, give me it" i snatched the notepad from him before walking towards the man whose blowing the smoke out of his mouth.

"Hello, welcome to Noona Café." he raised his head, he was giving me cold eyes but then sighed. "Sir, did you not see the sign outside?" i asked as he lowered his head.

"No, what'd it say?" i sigh in frustration

"It clearly said 'No Smoking Inside'." i replied as he then crushed his cigarette with his hand. He then looked back to me "Happy?" i clench my jaw slightly.

I don't like his attitude..

I then cleared my throat before taking my notepad out of my pocket "Anyways, what would you-"

"I'll have coffee." he said, cutting me off "Uhm, is that all?" i asked as he nodded, not making eye contact with me but instead looking at someone coldly at the back.

I frown, looking behind me seeing Russell, eyes widened.

I look back at the guy "Sir, is something wrong?" i asked as he then shooked his head, rubbing his face with his palm "Alright, uhm the coffee will be done within a minute." i finalized before walking back to Russell who was clenching his jaw.

"Hey" i snapped my fingers as Russell gasped softly "Do you know him?" he shook his head 'No' immediately "Uhm, what was his order?" he asked, grabbing a cup.

"He just wants coffee"

"Right! Uh okay"

"Here.." Russell handed me the coffee as I smile softly, I thanked him before walking back to the guy who was already looking at me.

I placed his coffee down the table "Thanks" he said, looking up to me making me force a soft smile before walking away

"Wait.."

I stopped walking before turning my head, looking at him "What's your name?" he asked making me frown, walking back to him.

"Uhm, it's Nunew.. Nunew Chawarin" i replied as he smiled.

I gasped softly "D-Dimples.." i thought, he has dimples.. I giggled softly as he raised an eyebrow "Why?" he asked, smiling again.

"You have.. Dimples.." he chuckles softly

"Yeah, I get that alot.."

"Uh, Zee." i frown, tilting my head in confusion making him chuckle again "Zee, it's my name. Zee Pruk"

"O-Oh! Sorry, haha silly me.."

"Nice to meet you, P'Zee." i smiled as he smiles softly, nodding.
