You know what sucks about certain OTPs is the fact that the people could be real people. Like you are reading or writing a fanfic then one of them gets married or starts dating in real life. It's like no come back you have to fall in love this person not that one. Or if they come out, like yay your'e gay but fall in love with this person. I hate when the writer stops writing a story or ends on a cliffhanger because one of the people got married. Like keep writing finish the story, it's ok the person won't know. But having an OTP with real people sucks, it's awful but amazing to see them living their life.
