The CEO and the Angel: A short story

It was a Monday morning, a blue one, when Kim Namjoon (30) walked into Jungkook's office. Namjoon was the financial director. Following him was an accounting clerk, Soobin. A bright and eager young man who will go far.

"Kook, Soobin has picked up on some seriously concerning irregularities in the expenditure of two departments, Minyuk and Jihoon's departments. Millions of dollars missing. I went through it all and it is a fact, money is disappearing and seems to have gone on for about 2 years. I don't know why Mina never picked up on it as it was her job to check all statements and expenditure. I am not accusing, but it might be that she was part of it." Jungkook balled his fists, how fucking dare she! His family paid for her college and gave her a good job, and this is what she does? But Jungkook is not just any CEO, he is methodical and extremely clever, already planning inside his head on what to do next. "Please call Yoongi hyung Soobin, and well done, you are a great asset to this company" Soobin bowed, very happy with the praise and left to call Min Yoongi (29), the IT director.

After explaining what happened, Yoongi started tracing and tracking calls and emails for the 3. Park Jimin (27, red hair, short, bubbly and Yoongi's fiancé), the HR Manager walked in, also one of Jungkook's closest friends. "Kook, Yoongi told me what happened. I have a very close friend, whom none of you have ever met, but he specialises in jobs like this. He is a forensic accountant in a way. I phoned him. He is almost done with his current job, and he can be here on Friday if you want. I think you must have heard the rumours in the financial world about him and his team, he goes by V, professionally. I will not tell you his real name as it can be dangerous for him and us. He is a mathematical genius, so he already graduated from Stanford Summa Cum Laude when he was 18. I don't know for whom he works, but I know he is the best when it comes to mathematics, finances and numbers." "Jiminie, see if you can get him to do the contract for us, I want to bury them all".

A few days later the CEO and all of the other directors, including Jung Hoseok (29) security director, and Kim Seokjin (32) marketing director  best chef in the world, were waiting for Jimin to come with the "V" person.

Jungkook was extra irritable as he couldn't speak to his love for 2 days now. Tae told him he will be off the grid for 72 hours. They hoped to be able to speak over the weekend and finalise Tae's return to Seoul.

Walking around the office like a bear with a sore tooth, Jungkook was irritating the rest now.

They heard Jimin laugh and the door opening. But only Jimin came in. "Guys, I am going to introduce you to my friend "V" now. He said it is extremely important for his and his team's safety that his identity remain a secret. No-one outside of this room can know that he is "V", please." They all nod, understanding. They didn't know what to expect from Jimin's friend, maybe a nerd with thick bottomed glasses and no personality. But the person entering the office was nothing like that. Silver hair, blue eyes, lightly tinted glasses. Dressed in form hugging ripped light blue jeans, and a white long sleeve shirt, a baseball cap on his head with white sneakers. Also, a mask over the bottom of his face. Everybody looked at the boy. But a certain dark-haired mail could not believe his eyes, he will recognise his love anywhere. "Baby???" The soft voice came from the window. The blue eyes turned to the voice, tears falling immediately as the boy ran straight to the dark-haired man "Koo!!!! Oh Koo!!!" He jumped into the open arms, crying, and hugging the male, who pressed his face into the neck of the younger boy, sobbing into his neck. His baseball cap laying on the floor, forgotten, where it fell off when the boy jumped into his man's arms. The others.... They stood with mouths open, not a sound, just staring at the two crying and hugging. Jungkook pulled down the mask covering his love's pink petal mouth and kissed him hungrily, being kissed back with the same passion. Until finally they let go after 3 minutes. "Tae, my love, my heart..." Jungkook couldn't complete his sentence, he was too overwhelmed. "My Kookie, my Jungkookie, my Koo..I love you so much and I missed you so, every second of every day" "I love you so so much Tae baby, fuck, you're in my arms again" He kissed the boys cute nose, his eyes, his cheeks and his petal lips.

"Uuuuhhmmm, should we leave or...." Yoongi was the first one to come out of his shocked state. Tae blushed and hid his face in Jungkook's neck. Jungkook, with red cheeks "Mm, no hyungs, sorry, it's just, wow... my Tae baby is here" They all laughed at that. "What the hell just happened?! My bestest friend and soulmate since we were in diapers is the one that stole your heart in Athens, Kook?" Jimin said with a little laugh. "And Taetae, you owe me one hell of an explanation after this and don't even think of leaving out a single detail, bitch. I want it all" Jimin looked at his friend with big eyes, conveying how serious this is in his eyes. "Yes Chim, we will talk after" Taehyung answered softly, smiling from ear to ear. "So, you are the mysterious V? Now I understand why you could not tell me anything. Wow, you do dangerous work angel." Jungkook looked into the beautiful blue eyes, so happy to have him in his arms, but now worried after learning the truth. "Koo, don't worry, we are protected by our company, and we can defend ourselves very well. And we are chipped, so if anything happens, we can be traced immediately. We are safe, I promise" He kissed his lover's lips again, he missed those kisses so much. "Why didn't you tell me you're coming to Seoul love? It was hell not talking to you for so long" the pout on Jungkook's lips made the others shake their heads in disbelief, they have never seen their friend like this. "I am sorry Koo, there was no time, everything happened quickly after Chim's call and the go ahead from our boss. We had to finish up our current assignment in under three days. Then we were on the plane on Wednesday evening already, that is why I said I will be off grid for 72 hours. I did not know whom Chim asked us to help and wanted to see first what the situation is and if we can take the assignment before letting you know I am here, which would have been after this meeting and a decision was made." Jungkook kissed the silver hair again. "You look so sexy with this hair" he whispered close to the boy's ear, making him blush and clutch his hands on the elder's shirt.

"Ok, you two can catch up later, for now, we need to get started. We want those three to burn in hell." Namjoon brought everyone's attention back to the issue and the reason they are all here. Jungkook quickly introduced Tae to the others and with Tae's permission introduced him as Kim Taehyung, his life.

Namjoon explained what Soobin found. Tae asked him not to name departments or names, he prefers to start from scratch, untainted in opinion. He called his 2 teammates, who were waiting at the coffee shop in the lobby, Jimin went down and brought them up. They were hell of a surprised to see Jungkook, they met each other every now and then in Athens, with Tae. They used aliases then and Jungkook respected that. Tae introduced Bogum and Minho to the others by their code names, BG and M. They sat around the boardroom table, ok, the others did, Tae was on Jungkook's lap, in his arms, but he paid full attention to the happenings.

After 3 hours a plan of action was decided on. Tae and his team will get the office that is next to Jungkook's private office, which can't be reached by any other way than Jungkook's private elevator and through his office. No-one but his hyungs have the code for the private elevator. Guards will be stationed outside the elevator on the bottom floor and basement and Jin will make sure food gets delivered during the day. The blacked-out vehicle will park in the basement, same as Jungkook's SUV. Only Jungkook uses the basement parking. They decided Soobin will assist them, to anybody else he was taking an extended leave to assist a sick family member. He also was not allowed outside the hotel room where he will stay with Bogum and Minho.

Tae and Chim spend half an hour catching up, with a promise of more when they have time.

They went for dinner at a restaurant, the others getting to know Tae and now understanding why the male lost his heart to the angel. After dinner, Tae left with Jungkook to his penthouse, they could not be separated.
