Once upon a time, there was a little and bright baby called Sun. His skin was as bright as his name and his blond hair was soft like cotton candy.
On the other part of the galaxy, a gorgeous little girl was born the same day that Sun. Her name was Moon. Her pale skin looked like the snow and her pretty green eyes seemed the spring grass.
They were three fully years without knowing anything about each other, just growing up in their houses, with their parents and the same games as always.
Luckily, on their 3rd birthday, they went at the same park to celebrate it.
Moon was playing shyly in the sand with her own toys when Sun got into the park. He saw her, shiny and as beauty as always, and he couldn't help but run at her place.
Moon was shocked at first, but she got used to him quickly. His vibes were as bright as he always was. They played during hours, building some planets and stars and launching them at the sky.
Sun happiness was so infectious that Moon wasn't able to stop laughing.
After that magical day, they met each other in the same park during years and the result was always the same: thousand of laughs and a strengthened friendship.
When they were ten, Sun ran to the park to see Moon, but she wasn't there. He went to her house and heard her mother telling Moon that she shouldn't see Sun never more.
He felt his heart break when he saw Moon running out of the house crying. She just hugged him as hard as she could and they start walking next to the river.
-"They say we can't be together." Moon murmured when they sat on a little bench.
-"Why not?" Sun asked.
-"They say our future jobs will be more important than our friendship."
Sun closed his eyes and grab her hand tightly.
-"We will always be together. I promise."
During the next years, Sun escaped almost everyday to see Moon and keep together like he promised.
However, in their sixteen birthday, Moon parents got her away from him to start doing her job in the sky. She tried to sneak out, but she only had one free day every month during the new moon.
Moon cried every night until, when she was eighteen, she decided anything was more important than her friend. That same night, she left everything she had and run to see Sun.
He was working bored and tired but, when he saw her appearing he thought he was dreaming. A huge smile was on their faces while Moon ran to hug him.
-"We will always be together."
And like this, thanks to the friendship power between these good friends, is how eclipses were created.
