It's been about 3 years since I've been living with Lucy. My parents were pretty shitty people. They mentally, physically, and emotionally abused me. I was really tired of it and left to live with her. She's been nothing but amazing. She doesn't hurt me like they did. She's always been like a sister to me. I'm so thankful for her. There are some slight downsides though: she's always fucking guys. It's almost every night. I have to listen to her headboard smack against the wall and her moan. It's really kinda sickening. Another thing is that she lives in a really crappy neighborhood. There's this family that lives beside us: the Dunbars. The daughter, Sarah, is pretty cool. She's beautiful. I actually hang out with her at school and sometimes outside of it. Her brother, Peter, is an absolute shit face. I thought my parents were bad, but he's worse. Everyday I have to deal with his bullying. I wish he'd just kill me. I've had to go to the hospital a couple of times for broken ribs. Sarah says that he's just trying to be friends. If that's his version of friendly, I don't wanna get on his bad side. Their parents aren't usually home. They both, according to Sarah, do a lot of traveling work, so her and Peter are free to do whatever. In addition to Lucy and Sarah, I have another friend: TK. He's pretty cool. He's had a crush on me forever, but he's not really my type. I'm not gonna just throw him away. He's literally my best friend. He understands that he's not my kind of guy, and he's okay with it... maybe. We both work at The Diner. He usually walks me home to keep me safe from Peter. We both carry tasers now after Peter almost killed TK, and I could hardly help.

I don't understand why Peter has to be such a bitch. I haven't even talked to him except in Biology class because we, for some fucked up reason, have to be partnered up. Our teacher puts us with who we're "most compatible with." She's clearly whacked out because me and Peter are NOT it. It's fine. Soon I'll be graduated and able to get away from this hell hole. It'll just take time.
