                                   Chapter one
One fine day or boring idk I  was going to school as I  always do  bus uggh why can't my parents drop me to school , i go to my  seat i usually sit alone but today someone came and sat beside me

O.M.G , It was Jennie the most popular girl in our school not only she was really pretty and charismatic but she was also kind of friendly which I definitely didn't expect from a popular girl back to the story so she sat beside me she seemed rich why is she in the bus or why does she even live in this community
Questions run in my mind and then

she goes "hey "
Idk what to say since no one this popular we've talked to me so you know if you know how I feel then I go "hi"
"Aren't u the girl in our class who is really Silent and I never heard you speak " she says
"Yah it's just I am pretty shy and I am an introvert " I answer
She nods her head

She asks me where I am from
I say I am from India
She goes "ohh I am from India tooo " in a happy tone
Now wait a minute she does not even look Indian "I thought you were Asian like from Philippines or Vietnam "
She laughs off and says "I am from manipur people often think the same like I am phillipino or Vietnamese something like that's so yah "
"Where you from in India " she asks
"I am from Bangalore "I said
We kept taking for the whole bus ride
Then we talk the whole day never in my life I ever felt like yes I have someone I could talk everyday and not feel lonely again

In lunch she introduced me to her friends who are the whole table like..... the table has about 20 chairs 😮
So then we exchange numbers

I go to home
And amma ( mom) sees I am happy
She Asks" why are you so happy today reya what happened "
I say I made soo many new friends
She listens to my whole story then she goes "this Jennie girl seems good but nothing is permanent remember make friends ,I am not against it but don't be just stuck with making friends and talking to them we came to United States for you and your sisters studies so try to do good in studies "
I roll my eyes and go to my room
"she is always saying this Ugggh"

Okay then I message my friends aditi and Shri to go out for playing
They both agree
aditi is in 6th grade
Shri is in 7th grade
Both are in my school unfortunately
I tell them about Jennie aditi goes "oh I see I don't like Jennie personally she seems soo pick me like she has nothing but beauty "
Shri is just standing there agreeing to aditi
I say you never know you probably are wrong
"I can never be wrong I am always right"aditi is saying smacking gum in her mouth
"Okay let's play volleyball now " I say
aditi goes "no I am bored I don't wanna "
I say "we came here to play volleyball 🏐 remember??"
" Gurl !! I said I don't wanna " aditi says
Shri says "I don't either who likes volleyball like Bruhh "
And then next movement they both are walking away talking to each other leaving me behind

I take my ball , my water bottle and leave they have been mistreating me since I came here then they bullied me and in bus they both sit together and ignore me
I walk home trying not to cry
Then when I am putting the code for my door
I hear my neighbor door open and guess what I hear someone say my name "reya you live here ?"
I turn in shock 😳
And say yah " and we are neighbors?"
Amma hears me talking to someone she asks who it is ?
I say"it's Jennie from my school"
Amma asks Jennie to come in She does Uhh oh because whenever someone calls you to come inside their home in India you say no several times then go in guess Jennie don't know it
And then amma is being very friendly to her and they both are talking completely forgetting I exist
I "sign"
Amma gives her Indian tea and biscuits
And asks Jennie bunch of questions
And they talk about bunch of things around the world

Then amma asks if her parents are waiting for her
She says she doesn't live with her parents her parents are in back in India
Woah what now
Amma asks who she lives with she says her nanny
Well that's kinda weird but I don't ask her about it further and she leaves .
