Third person pov

Two days after nandini tried to kill herself but manik saved her. She didn't came out of her room but one of the members always be with her as they are scared of her doing something if left alone. She didn't talk with anyone nor she eats properly.

Today Raj Malhotra decided to have talk with her. He walks into her room and saw her sitting on the window side .

"Nandu"he calls her. Nandini looked at her side and saw him.

He further moved inside the room and sat on the sofa and patted the place indicating her seat also.

Nandini too sits beside him and her eyes looked almost lifeless.

"You know you are like my daughter"he begins softly. Nandini looks at him with painful smile.

"You need to be strong for this bachha"he said looking at her whose body is now shivering. He took her hands and patted her head.

"You know my wife was also like you"
Hearing him nandini looked at him in curiosity.

"She was innocent but brave and strong. She knew how to fight for herself. She came from village and I was police inspector there. It was her wedding. Her groom was goon who died that in encounter. Her parents cried thinking who will marry her. I came forward and married her. Then I came to this city with her. ..I lived alone here in police headquarters.... I had enemies every where so I always remained tensed as she goes college alone....There was goon named raka that time who escaped from... encounter.... One day he kidnapped her knowing she is my wife. He... He raped her . I was late but I reached and saved her ,my wife. She became lifeless and behaved like a dead body.
She didn't talk and eat properly like you. One day I left her alone but when I came back and saw her lifeless body in blood. She was alive, breathing but slowly almost none. I took her to hospital and doctors saved her. When she woke up , I scolded her and didn't talk with her for many days. She cried asked for forgiveness from me promising me she would never do that again. I encouraged her to file case. She did and fought for herself with me beside her. She won and that bastard went to jail for lifetime" he was emotional remembering his wife at the moment.

"When we married ,she did everything to make happy. I was alone all my life ,she came like my sunshine in My dark life" he smiled and looked at nandini with strong and determined face.

"I wish I had daughter but no worries now I have navya and you"

"But I can't face this world alone"nandini said looking lost.

"Who says you are alone"came a voice disturbing their talk. Both Raj and nandini looked at cabir and navya and manik who were standing doorstep.

They came inside ,cabir knelt beside her on the floor.

"We are with you always"
He said looking directly in her eyes as if making a promise. She looked at everyone and then at manik who was standing still beside Raj with blank look.They gave her encouraging smile. She too got some courage and decided to fight for herself.

"I am ready"

Making everyone happy and manik too smiled a little.

Somewhere in the corner of city-

A man was sitting on the chair looking at the photo in the file he was carrying.  It was shady building with lots of antique peaces inside. There were eagles around the wall of room.He caressed the photo and smiled sadistly. His eyes were red and body was shivering.

"Any news"he asked the man infront of him .

The second man was sweating and scared a lot. He was scared for his life.

"Yes sir.she is staying with Malhotra family"

"Hmm , I see little birdie is hiding in another's nest"he smiled in cunning way.

"Umm sir,she decided to file a case against you"his man uttered in scared voice and gulped closing his eyes.

The boss turns stiff for a second and his smiled vanished . But suddenly started to laugh loud.

"Little birdie got courage ,hnn. It's ok let okay game according to her. If she thinks she can hide than she is wrong" he stood up and dismissed his man. He walks to the wall to his right and moved the eagle. When it moved ,the place in middle of wall replaced and picture came in view.  He caressed face in it lovingly.

"Bad birdie ,you need to be caged " he laughed slowly and kissed it.

"Nandini"
