"Why are you in here?" (KiriBaku Fluff)

I like you in all your stupid glory-

Kirishima knocked on Bakugos door already knowing that he would answer and let him in, and like clockwork he heard the shuffle of books on a desk and the scrape of a chair as those familiar footsteps came closer to the door. Kiri smiled brightly at the hot-headed blond in front of him "I am soon just going to leave my door unlocked" Bakugo said before turning around to go back to his desk "just come in already shitty hair", "thanks man!" Kirishima replied, stepping into the dorm and sitting down on the bed

"do you need any help with that?" He pointed to the homework Bakugo was working on and the blond snorted a laugh, "like you could help me! Have you even started on yours?" He quirked an eyebrow at him and all Kirishima could say was "we aren't gonna talk about that..." he said, not making eye contact and trying as much as possible not to look guilty but failing miserably and making Bakugo laugh, wait... laugh? he never thought he would make the great Bakugo Katsuki laugh, he had seen him laugh before but never like this... he was so pretty... so perfect... so... oh crap. now he knows what he has been feeling... what was he going to do about this?!

"why are you staring?" Bakugo asked, trying to fight back a new wave of giggles at seeing his best friend staring at him like he had 3 heads while Kirishima was fighting back his feelings to no avail. "why do i even let you in here?" Bakugo seemed to ask himself but Kiri answered "heck if i know, i just ask and you say yes!", at that Bakugo turned around in his chair to hide his face and he could swear he felt Kiri's eyes on him, the redhead desperately trying to figure out what this all meant and why he was acting weird. now Bakugo would normally never admit his feelings, some days he think he forgets they even exist but this had been going on long enough, either Kirishima wasn't taking the hint or he just didn't know how to talk... he was going bet on both.

"do you really wanna know why i let you in here?" he asked "well, yeah" Kiri answered, he wondered if it was for some stupid reason, Bakugo wasn't the mushy mushy type anyways. the blond took a deep breath before saying "you are one of the only extras i want to spend time with, i actually like spending time with you, i like you in all of your stupid-" in that moment his brain caught up with his mouth and he realized what he had said, what was he going to do? deny it? he can't, its true. he stayed silent as he counted the seconds go by and saw Kirishimas facial expressions change from shock to confusion until he started to smile, a wide happy grin spreading across his face and now it was Bakugos turn to be confused, what did that mean? shitty hair smiles a lot so does this mean he is okay with what i just said? "dude, that is the most manly thing i have ever heard!" what... "huh?!", "that was super manly! confessing your feelings is one of the hardest things to do! your so cool and brave!" was he really talking about being manly when Bakugo felt like his heart was going to self destruct on himself?! within his spiraling thoughts and pounding heart he almost missed the words that Kiri had said within his manly rant, "i like you too Bakugo!"

"you... like me?" he questioned as if he also hadn't just confessed "of coarse i do! you are the most outgoing, amazing and strong person I've ever met! why wouldn't i be attracted to you?". Bakugo took a moment to contemplate this, "good" was all he could say, what was he supposed to say? "do you wanna go on a date?" "huh..." he looked up from where he was staring
"a date? where?"
"how about we go hiking!"
"we go hiking all the time-"
"well yeah, but i like hiking with you.."
"aren't dates supposed to be romantic?" he said with slight confusion
"yes, but i thought you would like hiking better. i have never seen you as the person to go to a fancy restaurant."
"you got a point... god damn it-"
"are- am i moving too fast?" Kirishimas self-doubt was now seeping into his voice, the uncertainty and worry of making Bakugo uncomfortable was evident in his voice, "no... dont you dare think that. I'm just... I've just never really done this before so its new to me, you're not moving too fast, i just need to figure this all out" "don't worry about it man! We can take this at your pace." At that Bakugo visibly relaxed at knowing Kiri wouldn't pressure him. He knew that anyway but verbally hearing it helped a lot, he was always so confident and all his life he thought being in a relationship would weigh him down so he had never even really developed a crush due to his self centered personality but he was older now, more mature than he was back then and he was glad for that, glad for the change and glad for the friends he has made... oh wait... Sero, Mina and Kaminari... no they weren't homophobic, Mina is Aroace and Kaminari is openly bisexual, Sero is a bit confused but that basically described him so he had nothing to worry about with being with Kiri. Why would he need to worry, Kirishima was going to be by his side and he wouldn't slow him down but build each other up... oh great now he was getting mushy, he needs to snap out of it. "Come're shitty hair-" Bakugo said with his arms out for a hug, the one physical affection he would allow from Kirishima before all of this, Kirishima immediately jumped up from the bed and lifted the shorter man in a bone crushing hug that knocked the breath out of him but Bakugo didn't mind, he would never mind if it meant that his... boyfriend was happy.
