I was scrolling through Instagram on my king-sized bed in my room, and I suddenly felt a strange feeling behind my back. It felt like I had the tail of a fox or maybe even a cat. I quickly put my phone down on the bed. I put my hand behind my back and I couldn't feel anything except my clothes. I suddenly hear a loud voice.
"Linley dear," my dad yelled, "It's time for breakfast!"
Oh yeah, I completely forgot it was a Monday morning and I have school of course. It's currently 6:50 AM. I jumped off of my bed and rushed into the kitchen. The delicious smell of blueberry waffles and French toast drifted through the room. I sat down at the table. The chair made a loud squeaky noise when I did it made me flinch a little. My mom and dad sat down too. I picked up my fork and started eating my waffles suddenly I heard my mom speak.
"So honey what do you think you're going to learn at school today?"
I signed and stared at her with an annoyed look.
"Mom look I don't know what I'm going to learn today okay?"
My mom looked at me with her dark brown eyes calmly.
"That's okay," she smiled.
My dad just sat there eating his breakfast listening to our conversation.
Minutes passed by until we all finally got done eating. It's now 7:10 AM I picked up my red-orange-looking backpack and rushed out the door.
I sat in the back of my mom's car. It was a nice-looking car. There wasn't anything wrong with it. It had four doors like every other car. My mom sat in the driver's seat and my dad sat in the passenger seat.
My dad put on some of his favorite rap music on the radio. I covered my ears quickly. I just hate it whenever he plays that music! It makes my ears bleed.
"Dad, can you please turn the music off?" I asked still covering my ears.
"Oh come on just listen to it!" he yelled back.Sigh
Do I have to listen to this crap?! My face was raging with redness.
"Turn that off now Dad I'm not playing around!" I yelled.
My dad looked at me confused, "Oh dear someone has anger issues." he laughed.
I stared at him the angriest way a human could ever see.
I don't like this music at all. I wish I could listen to the rain or calming nature sounds.
"Fine, I turn it off." my dad says.
Oh thank the Lord I was about to explode. It's now 7:17 AM and we are at the middle school. My mom stops at the curve of a sidewalk and lets me out to walk in Crystal River. I quickly opened the car door and ran inside. Oh thank God I can finally be away from my annoying parents.
I ran inside the gym to the 7th-grade side on the bleachers. I saw my best friend Evelyn sitting by herself so I sat by her of course.
Squeak squeak squeak, the sound the gym bleachers made when I finally sat by her."Hey, girl!" she yelled at me.
"Oh hey, Evelyn I'm so glad I'm away from my parents."
"Oh, what why?" she asked me.
"My dad knows I don't like rap music and he played it in the car to freaking annoy the crap out of me!" I yelled.
A few 7th graders stared at me but I didn't have any reaction to them.
"Sh! Girl you're being too loud! Watch your voice!"I stared at her angrily. She doesn't even care about what I freaking said!
"OH SO EVELYN YOU'RE BEING LOUD TOO AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN CARE ABOUT WHAT I SAID!" I yelled
She stares at me with her ocean-blue eyes and her blonde hair, "Oh Linley I do care about what you said I was just saying you were being too loud. Don't get so angry, okay?" She put her hand on my shoulder to calm me down.
I took deep breaths.I don't know what got into me for yelling at my best friend like that. It just happens sometimes.
We sat there in silence for a few minutes until it was 7:45 AM. The 8th graders were getting up to go to their class. They call the 7th graders to go to class. Me and Evelyn have the same class together so we walk there together. Our homeroom is Mrs. Aria and she is the normal type of English teacher. Not very strict at all. We walked into her class and sat down at the table we both sit at.
"Hey guys," Mrs. Aria says, "Might as well get your English folder out for our assignment!"
