(Also getting back into my abyss and water phase again)
Gargantuan Leviathan nicknamed as Protector the Abyss, or Terror of Abyss depending on which side you are on.
Gargantuan's are probably the largest sea beast to be recorded in length and weight. They are strictly carnivores and eat a lot if not constantly, just to maintain their diet.
Males are every territorial and aggressive, while the females tend to be more docile but still get quite aggressive if their young are in danger.
Appearance:
Like all other abyss creatures, gargantuan have bioluminescence that change colors depicting their mood.
Their scales are usually black and dark grey, very rare some will have a dark blue color to them.
The other rare scale color is the albino version which looks transparent, and like glass.Their bioluminescent default glowing color usually tends to be white or yellow.
With Yabarak their ancient being the only one who has red glow as his default choice.Gargantuan are supposedly a dying species since the world cannot sustain their hunger. Most often go savage and attack anything that moves, so a lot of people are calling to kill them all.
The abyss folk are of course not happy and do everything they can for the gargantuan.Relationship with the abyss:
In the abyss they were seen as Deities in the early stages, but as time went on they soon were seen as protectors or guardians. When food was plentiful, many abyssfolk made peace with gargantuan's and encouraged them to stay.
A lot of it was because the gargantuan's presence, scared off many other predators, and foreign attackers. However if a dispute between two cities came about, the gargantuan's usually never get involved unless an all out war broke out.
It became very quick, laws were put in place to protect gargantuan's, and many have high respect for them.
In today's time it is being tested, due to lack of food. Some abyss cities have had to kill their gargantuan to protect themselves. Others have lost theirs due to hunger or deep sea hunters, and some foreign invaders.
There are only very few known gargantuan leviathans known that are alive, with Yabarak and Flores. Others that are alive have taken refuge in deeper water clinging onto whatever food they can find.
