You skip up the steps of BFDI College, almost losing your balance once you reach the top. You're really excited to start your first day at this prestigious university, being placed as top in your school.
Ecstatic, you forget any worries you had before and start to spin around in circles. You barely recognize anything as the whole world becomes a blur of colors and sounds and people and-
Wait- PEOPLE?!? Suddenly it dawns on you that you might bump into someone, but it's already too late. You crash into a person. Very tall, must be very strong to not go flailing into the floor like you just did, and as you look up at him, he appears to be very very hot..
STOP WHY ARE YOU THINKING OF THIS YOU LITERALLY JUST MET HIM WHAT THE HELL
Your brain is screaming at you to MAKE SENSE FOR ONCE. You don't normally fall for people this fast! Who even is this guy?
Flustered, you regain your composure and start to pick up the things you just dropped. What you don't know is, the boy you bumped into is helping collect your things as well. As if on cue, your fingers brush against each other. Your heart almost leaps out of your chest.
"Oh um..I'm sorry heh! Thanks for..uh..helping me get my stuff.." You barely mumble as you scramble to your feet. He grins a little bit. That smile. You would kill to get his lips onto yours-
NO STOP STOP THINKING THIS STOP
The minute he opens his mouth, you feel like you're in heaven. All he says is, "Oh, it's alright!" and you start melting. No, not physically, of course- though you know if you started melting physically, he'd attend to you as fast as possible. Such a gentleman.
"I- uh..I-.." You manage to put together a rushed introduction.
"Oh, what an interesting name! I really like it," he replies. The same adorable grin remains on his face.
"Thanks.." you mutter, almost under your breath. You turn to leave, but he calls out your name.
"Hey um..you wanna..stay in touch somehow?" Your heart starts to race as you hand him your number enthusiastically. He smiles again. WHY IS HE ALWAYS SMILING WHY IS HIS SMILE SO CUTE SO ADORABLE SO SO-
"Thanks, I'll make sure to keep in touch with you!" He calls out as you two separate. As you say goodbye, the words seem to flutter out like butterflies from your stomach.
Maybe..maybe you're going to enjoy being in this university more than you thought you would.
Maybe you've fallen in love.
