Sabrina's POV

We were walking through the crowd together, The flashing lights and distant chatter never coming to an end. I held your hand, holding you close to me as we faced the challenges that came with being in the public eye.
As we were walking past all the noise, you lost track of time and got trapped in your own train of thought. When you weren't paying any mind to the world around you, somebody from the crowd reached out and grabbed you by your thigh, trying to drag you towards them. Your heart skipped a beat, I could tell your mind was racing with timid thoughts as your life flashed before your eyes.
I snapped out of it, reaching out and pushing the person off of you, giving them a stern look. "Hey, back the fuck off!" I growled, "get lost!" I continued, my voice filled with anger and remorse.
My expression quickly softens as I approach you again. I wrap my arms around you, shielding you from the prying eyes and invasive touch.
"It's okay babe, i've got you. They won't touch you again. Not on my watch. You're safe." I whispered, holding your trembling hands in mine as your entire body quivered and you clung to me. I felt terribly sorry for what had happened, and I would do everything in my power to speak up, make sure you're safe, and be there for you.
"I'm so sorry, baby. I won't let anything happen to you again, you can count on it."
I placed a gentle kiss on your temple, holding you close to me as I offered you a space to cry and let it out if you needed too. I knew it was extremely important to provide that space for you, and I would do everything i could do to make sure you have that.
From that day forward, I made a silent promise; that I would never let anything happen to you again; no matter what it means for me. It pains me to see you hurt like that.
