The fern rumbled as the hasty figure ran from the forest heading to a castle, feet barely touching the graveled path. He ran in a hurry, could it be a great news, a bad news, or perhaps something else? After sprinting, He stood in front of the fortified granite gate. He then asked the guard "huff puff, guardian may you open the gate?"
The fallen guardian then tapped his spear to the ground. Signaling the fallen hero to open the gate. Before it open halfway, he dashes in.
As he ran, he was greeted by an extravagant throne room, the king is nowhere in sight, it is early in the morning, so it's not a surprise. He ran around the throne before he found the the exact hallway.
in the castle garden
There stood Necromancer boss, peacefully humming a tune as he waters the black roses. But then, he notices a blooming white rose, he walks toward it, and kneel before snapping its stem. "You're gorgeous... yet, so delicate" he murmurs as the rose rapidly decays to his touch. He stood back up to inspect the dead rose. But then a roaring scream came from the hallway, he put away his watering can for his staff, his stance changed to a ready one. He patient awaits the threat, Then Dark Necromancer shows up.
His posture relaxes as he sighs. "What's the matter" he grabs his watering can. "Boss, I think my staff isn't working properly". "Go on" he turns on the tap water. "I couldn't summon anything! I think it... ran out of magic?". "Alright-" then something clicked. "What?" he glares at him. "The staff orb looks dull..." he flicks it to prove a point. Necromancer Boss stood still, before taking a closer look.
"Hmm..." He closely Inspect it. "Interesting...""I have never seen such a peculiar case" he remarks. "You should go to summoner's library". "Wait, isn't that that place restricted?" "Well, it's usually off limit..." he turns back and searches through his pocket. "But let's say I have a... special access" he pulls out the key with his index finger smugly. He then hands out the key to him "There, make sure you don't loose it.
Necromancer, nodded before he storms off. This time, he casually walks, as he admires the castle decors. The floor is a sleek gray stone, with a maroon carpet on top. he then looks at the wall. The wall is made out of black granite, with the stone accents. Passing each pillars there's usually a painting, to keep it lively.
Before he knew it, he was in the doorway of the library. He walks in and is greeted with comforting dark oak flooring, with the same carpet. He walks around, before finding the stairs. As he goes up the the U stair he notices the door to summoner's library. He walk toward it, with key in his hand.
he unlocks the door
The door creaks as it is slowly opened. He take a look inside and sees a spiraling staircase. He closes the door behind him. As he slowly descends, he looks around and notices how much care is put into this room, no cobweb, no cracks, nor even a spec of dust on the bookshelf. He finally took the last step. Before he scours through the books selection. Before finding one about staff.
He takes the rather ancient looking book from the shelves, and put it gently onto the table near it. He grabs a chair and sat in it. He is quite curious so he reads a bit, before he skims through the pages before he finds one about the staff orb. His eyes dart along every sentence, before he found one about "Empty Orb".
"If your staff orb looks dull or empty, you must refill it, here is the elixir recipe for it:" his suspicious was correct. So he looks around the room and found an empty cauldron, it looks like there's shelves of many kinds of ingredients, how convenient.
"alright let's see." "A piece of void reaver molted horn... Void crystal dust... a bit of every summoned zombie.. pieces?" He looks around the room and found a jar containing zombie flesh. He was creeped out, but he puts it inside the cauldron.
"okay okay, that was.. freaky, anyway" He looks at the book, it told him to stir it 5x, wait only that much? huh okay. After he was done with the elixir. He put it into a a small tube. He then reads the book and it told him to take the orb and and fill it in. He does as it says. And he's done.
"Wait, why is the orb dark purple". He rereads the book and realized he was only suppose to put 1 drop in. He slowly close the book. He stood still.
...
"Oh my reaver"
"well... Its refilled now" He glances at his new staff, he then looks around and noticed a testing room. "That's quite useful". As he opens the door, he was meet with a wide space, there seems to be explosion mark and magic spillage from previous tests.
"Welp, time to test this!"
