Itsuki and the others were sitting around a campfire after finishing their meals.
Itsuki: So what exactly are you guys?
?? 01: Hm, well we're adventures.
Rin: I see, and I take it you guys came from town?
?? 02: Indeed we came from Azpire, it basically the town we use as our main base.
?? 01: Though if you like we could take you there.
Itsuki and Rin were a bit surprised.
Itsuki: Really? Are you sure?
?? 01: Of course.
Itsuki smiles in excitement.
Itsuki: Alright!
Timeskip
Itsuki, Rin were able to catch a ride with the adventures. Itsuki was meditating, while Rin was resting her head on his shoulder.
Itsuki then opens and eyes notices a town in the distance.
Itsuki: Is that the town you were talking about?
?? 01: Yup. The town of Azpire.
It only took a few minutes before they arrived and entered the town.
?? 02: We have arrived to our destination.
Rin: I don't know how to thank you for all you have done for us.
?? 02: This horn...it's worth a lot of money. This should be enough.
?? 03: Are you sure you to do adventures work? It quite dangerous.
Itsuki: Well we gotta make money somehow. It will also help us understand some stuff.
?? 01: Sounds good.
Rin: Thanks again for helping us.
?? 01: No problem, besides helping out others is part of being an adventurer.
After saying goodbye to the adenturers, Itsuki and Rinmade their way to the adventurer guild. However when they arrive they were surprised at how small it was.
Itsuki: I dont think this is their HQ, cause I mean by the looks of it, it's quite small.
Rin Well the quicker we get this done, the better.
The two nodded and headed inside.
Inside the adventurers guild there was many people. One in particular was standing behind the counter.
Itsuki: Hey Rin I think she the one who will register us.
Rin: It's worth a shot.
They walk up to the counter and the woman welcomes them.
??: Oh hello there. How can I be of assistance?
Itsuki: We were wondering if we can sign up as adventurers here?
??: Do you have a magic aptitude?
Rin: Umm? We're not really sure.
??: Well then let's find out shall we?
She walks over to the bookshelf standing behind her and grabs a crystal ball. And it seems that she had another one.
??: So who'd like to go first?
As the two of them look at one another. Rin sighs and puts her hand on the crystal ball.
However nothing happened.
Rin: Huh, seems like I don't have any. I'm sorry you two.
??: Hold on! No way!
She looks bewildered, and turns her gaze to Itsuki.
??: Are you as gifted as her?
They looked at her with a confused expression.
??: Quickly, put your hand on the crystal ball.
Itsuki places his hand on it, and after a few seconds it suddenly cracks, which scares the four of them.
Itsuki Ah?! I'm sorry!
??: Please wait here while I get the guild master.
She quickly heads upstairs.
Itsuki: Great, now we made a commotion.
After a few minutes passed, 3 figures came down the stairs. One was a blonde girl, another was a short tanned male with lots of facial hair, and the guild assistant.
??: These 2 are the ones I'm talking about.
?? 02: So your the ones Marie was so anxious about? I'm the guild master Garad.
Rin: Guild master you say?
Itsuki: Sound important.
Garad: Unfortunately at the current time we won't be able to register you 3 as adventurers.
This shocks them.
Itsuki: What why not?!
Rin: Does that mean we can't work? How are we suppose to live?
Garad: Take it easy, don't panic. Muller.
Muller: Yes sir.
Garad: My associate here is going to take the 2 of you to a place where you can get some advice on whatever path you decide to take from this point forward.
Itsuki:*small blush* Wow, she really pretty.
This caught everyone by surprised. Itsuki comments caught Muller off guard and made her cheeks turn a hint of pink.
Garad*clears throat* Ahem.
Itsuki: But why should we do that?
Rin: I mean you're asking us to follow her without any explanation.
Garad: True, but you'll understand if you go. If you don't, you can't become adventurers.
Muller smiles and folds her arms.
Muller: Geez, do I arouse that much suspicion in both your minds?
