ALONE

chapter 1

She place her left hand on the wall using her right hand to maneuver the thick Curtain which was Covering the window beside her bed, on doing so, she slowly lift her upper body from the bed as she tries to peek outside, but her attention is divert from a sudden noise she hears from the door knob which sounds like the door knob was twisted from the other end. She stops, her eyes wide open as if they were going to come out of there Socket, she gradually turns her neck to the position of the door, which is beginning to open, she watches as the door slowly opens till it was completly open.

She got up from sleep, because she heard voices which she thought wes coming from outside, that's why she decided to check peeking through the window. But now She can't help but fix her eyes throught the opened door hoping that either her mom
or sister could Jump in and shout

"surprise!", laughing at her.

But nothing like such happen, the more she stare at the open spaces the more darker it gets. The hairs on her body raise as if they were summon, she finally muttered what sounds like

"mom, are you there?".

She summon up the remaining will power in her and take off the blanket that was covering her feets up to her waist, as she quietly move herself from the bed, as she gets to the edge of the bed, she first of, drops one of her foot on the floor, although Couldn't tell if the floor was cold or warms because of the Socks on her feet, she stands up and walk through the open door into the darkness.

As she walks into the darkness she sense the presence of another in the dark with her, it made her feels she's not alone, the feeling keeps growing bigger and bigger.
That feeling of someone or something kept on, she breathe and tell herself it nothing but her imagination, As she couldn't Convince herself, the feels grows ever more and she begins to walk fast but the fast she move the entitie kept on following which made her so scared that she begins to run without realize it.

She discover she was heading to nowhere as if the darkness has no end, she is beginning to lose her breathe, she decided to stop and catch her breathe, on doing so, she notice the feeling she was having of a presence of someone or thing has stop as if it was never there. She thought to herself if it was tired as well.

Few minutes, the feeling comes back but because she's so fatigue, she refuse to run nor turn even though her body is saying otherwise, she stand there like a statue, shouting her eyes, willing to accept her faith. it continues to walk till it gets very close to her and stop.

She can tell it is a living thing as she hear it's breathing behind her, her heart begins to pound as if it about to tire out of her chest, even though she was wearing a heavy sweater she still feels cold on her shoulder as something that felt like hand was place on it, on getting a glance of what it was she screams for help.
