My Spanish Adventure

Chapter 5

It's been two weeks since school started and my stupid Spanish teacher, Señorita Smith, is already having our first test. She said it was going to be over the 'basic' vocab.

It is Tuesday and the test is tomorrow. I have been sitting in my room since school let out with thirty-five flash cards. I keep going over them again, again, and again!

I finally decide to take a break and go get food! I make my way down to the kitchen without bothering to change from my red spandex short shorts and black Nike sports bra with a red since Aaron and Aria were on a date and my parents took Ellie to the arcade. I have my earphones in listening to 21 by Hunter Hayes and go to the fridge to get Greek yogurt and so blueberries. I turned away from the fridge and ran into none other than Bennett!

"BENNET LOUIS MAC YOU SCARED THE HECK OUT OF ME!!!" I yell at him as he just stares at me "What the freak are you doing here? And what the heck are you staring at?"

"Um Soph" he said as he points to my body and hands me his black jacket. Crap I'm in my sports bra.

"Oh um thank you" I said quickly putting on the jacket "Now why are you here"

"Well I was at some awesome college party with this hot college cheerleader" he said giving me a fake death glare " but then your brother called me saying that if I didn't come and help you study he would tell me secret"

"Oh um sorry bout that then" I blush "hang on what secret?"

"Um that I'm good at math duh" he shook his head

"Your good at math" I question

"Top in my class thank you very much" he says as he puffs out his chest

"Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm in your class and I'm first so you must be second" I laugh

Eventually me and Benny go upstairs to continue studying yuck! I hand him all the flash cards and he goes though them.

"Oh these are easy" he says

"Says the guy whose first language is Spanish" I glare at him

"What does nadar mean" he asked

"To run no that's correr....to um swim" I question myself

"That's right" he smiled "what does yo mean"

"I know this one! I!!!!!" I said happily

We continuer do doing this until bout 11 when we Aaron came home and saw me half asleep at my desk and made Bennett leave.

It is now Thursday and I really hope I get my Spanish test back today because I feel I did really well.

"Ok class" Señorita Smith said in English thankfully "I graded your tests, Billy will you pass these out" she handed the papers to one of the freshman boys "Now the grades were not at I expected them to be we only have one grade above a 70%"

Oh shoot I really hope I was the one who had above a 70. Billy finally got to me and put my paper grade down on the desk so no one could see. I gently lifted the top right corner and saw I got a 95%. I smiled to myself 'I can't wait to tell Benny' I thought. The bell rang about five minutes later and I ran to Bennett's locker.

"Benny, Benny, BENNY" I started to yell when I got closer

"Woah little bit slow down" he said

"Igota95onmyspanishtest" I said all in one breath

"Soph breathe" I did as he said "now tell me slower"

"I got a 95 on my Spanish test" I said happily

"I knew you could do it" he said trapping me in a bear hug

"I couldn't have done it without you" I said "thank you"

"Your welcome" he smiled "What are we still doing standing here? Let's go get ice cream to celebrate" Bennett put his arm around me and lead me out of the school.

A/N: sorry it's been forever! I decided to write because it is summer and I'm super excited and I won't be able to sleep tonight! I actually have plans tomorrow!! I have like no life so this is pretty exciting even if those plans are with my mom, my sister and her boyfriend! But anyways I will update soon!
