Chapter 3. 💎

Scott's eyes widened, this could be the solution to the rift issue.

"Well, what would the spell be called?" He asked, feeling slightly excited.

His wings calmed down slightly, still twitching but not as much as before.

"It's a pretty easy spell, but I'll need each of your hairs, we have to close the rift down together.*

A look of confusion crossed his face for a moment before understanding what the spell was.

"Our hairs?" He asked, sounding slightly confused.
"I see, well if it is the best solution then we will do it together."

He was still slightly confused about the hair part of the spell.

His wings were still shifting around, but only slightly.

"Yeah..." Gem said. Everyone thought for a moment before Katherine spoke up, "I'm in. Whatever it takes." Katherine said, her wings twitching a little.

Scott looked around at the other rulers, he wasn't surprised by Katherine's response.
"Very well, I'll assist too if it means closing the rift down." He spoke with calm in his voice.

His wings were still slightly twitching but they were calming down.

One by one the rulers agreed, nodding at Gem. "Ok, Gem breathed, all of you meet me at the rift tonight, I'll have the potion ready then, oh and bring a hair of yours." She finished.

"Alright then, we shall meet at the rift tonight." Scott replied with a nod.

He felt relieved that the meeting had actually been productive and they had a plan in motion to solve the rift issue.

"What time should we meet?" He asked.

"7:00 sounds good," Gem said, and all the rulers nodded. "You can all stay here tonight if you'd like?" Katherine suggested, "And there's plenty of room, plus some of you live far away.*

A look of relief crossed over Scott as he heard this.
"Thank you for allowing us to stay for the evening. It is much appreciated. I will assist with creating the potion and spell tonight."
He spoke formally and seriously but with a bit of gratitude.

His wings were fully calm now, not twitching at all and at ease.

"Ok," *Katherine smiled, the other rulers had said their thanks and Katherine led them all to a hallway, "You guys can pick any room you want on this hallway." Katherine said, leaving them to it. "Dibs!" Sausage said, running towards one of the rooms as Jimmy laughed and some others too.

He went over to the hallway, thinking for a second about which room to pick.

He noticed Sausage running towards one of the rooms, his eyes followed him for a moment.

His wings shifted around slightly.

"Hm... I haven't decided which room to pick yet." He spoke aloud with a small chuckle.

The other rulers picked a room until it was down to just Shubble and Scott. "Um hello, hi." Shubble said nervously, waving. "I don't mind, whatever room you want is yours.*

"Ah, thank you Shubble. In all honesty, I am still deciding." Scott replied.
"You can pick, I'm not really bothered by it."

He shifted around on the spot, his wings slightly twitching once again.

"Oh ok then, thanks Scott." Shubble Said, walking towards a room "See you later I guess."

"See you later, Shubble." Scott said as he watched the other ruler went into one of the rooms.

"Hmm, I guess this will just have to do." He muttered to himself.

He shrugged his arms and stepped into a room on the right hand side of the hall.

Scott looked around as he entered and his eyes lit up when he saw a big comfortable double bed.
"I suppose I will be staying here for the night." He said with a warm smile.

After time had gone by it was finally 7:00, the other rulers began filing out of their rooms up to the rift.

Scott came out of his room, looking down towards the rift in the distance.

He still had his warm smile on his face but it quickly faded away as his wings shifted around nervously.

His wings started twitching again, clearly he was a bit worried about what was about to happen.

"I am guessing that it is time to meet Gem?" He asked to the other rulers.

"Yep, Katherine Said to take a left and go up to the roof so we can just fly there." Fwhip replied to Scott, amd the other rulers nodded.

"Very well then, we shall all go up to the roof. It will be the easiest way to get there."

He turned to the left and began walking up to the roof. He still had a bit of a worried expression on his face and his wings were shifting around as he walked.

His wing movement was increasing by the minute but they still weren't fully going crazy with anxiety, they were still mostly under control.

When they all had reached the roof they flew over to the rift, landing onto what seemed to be a circle with more circles connected to it. "Is this a cult, Gem?" Pix joked, walking into one of the circles.

Scott chuckled at this comment.
"It would appear it is not a cult." He spoke with his signature warm smile.

He walked into a circle and stood in the centre, all the other rulers did the same apart from Katherine who had landed on the side.

He shifted his wings slightly, feeling a little nervous in the circle. But he could feel himself calming down slightly.

Katherine took a deep breath, stepping into her circle, she appeared to be clutching a flower, maybe a comfort for her.

This made Scott smile slightly, he had noticed the flower in her hands.

They all stood in the centre of the circles, waiting for whatever the spell was that Gem had told them about.

Scott was still quite calm and his wings weren't moving as much as earlier, they still twitched slightly but they were calming down.

"Are you ready guys?" Gem said, holding a potion. "Ha! Not even remotely." Jimmy said, while some other rulers made a few comments about it.

Scott chuckled at this, he loved Jimmy's honesty.
"I'm still a bit anxious too." He added with a small smile.

His wings twitched, as they constantly were.

He then looked over at Gem.
"Alright then, we're ready. Let us begin this spell." He said this with a calm tone.

"Ok," Gem then stepped into her circle, smashed the potion bottle, letting the liquid run through the lines of chalk. Suddenly, the circles lit up, each a different color for each different ruler.

Scott watched on in fascination as each circle lit up.

A feeling of wonder washed over him and his wings shifted slightly.

He was still anxious but he was mostly in awe over the sight.

His eyes filled with sparkles, as he looked at each colour of each circle, the blue from his circle caught his eye the most.

He looked around and saw the other rulers were just as intrigued as him.

A gust of wind was felt, followed by a storm. "Wait! Gem shouted through the loud wind "Stop! I Said stop!! Hang on guys- this isn't supposed to— happen!" Thats all they heard before blacking out.
