Chan found his love across the ocean, in an unknown land, a different nation. He bets on his memory power he remembers most of the things. Things he was determined to remember, things he was supposed to forget and things he didn't realise at all he was carrying along.

They say memories fade away without pictures or any footprints. They say wrong. Some memories never go away. It stays like wet soil in the farm. He was seven for the first time the sand felt warm in his feet when he sailed ship with his father to an unknown land for the first time, His father bowed down to the king. His Majesty, chanted his father who appeared to be his best friend. Chan's father, Mr Bahng was known in many foreign lands over the horizon.

He witnessed a beautiful life in the world beyond the sea when he accompanied his father. He was thirteen at that time when the digital cameras were just brought in use but he had never seen one until he stepped inside the palace for the second time. In the land, there were flowers and fruits he had never seen in his village. And he met the princess. She was more beautiful than any of the tulips, lotuses, wisterias blooming in the land and riversides. Her little toes running in the palace corridors, she giggled when she found a stranger watching her wandering around twirling in her royal attire, a long silk gown.

"What is your name, orabeoni?", She said with a blushful tone, her doe eyes fixed at the ground. The wooden carpeted lavish floor must be entertaining to look at.

"I am Bahng Chan, son of-", He straightened his posture to introduce himself attractively or that's what his father taught him and extended his hand but his words were cut by the little lady who lifted her eyes and spoke in the less known formality.

"I don't care who your father is.", She sounded rather not soft. And Chan, he chuckled uncomfortably before he gathered enough courage to forward his hand again.

"What is your name, milady?", He said, a little softer than before and casual.

"Lee Miho.", She smiled lightly giving her hand to his and he kneeled down, gave a little peck at her palm brushing her small fingers.

During his stay in the palace, he came to know more about Lee Miho. Apparently she is the princess and first born to the royal family. She was born on the full moon and the whole kingdom celebrated a holiday on her birthday. She loves cats, she has three newborn kittens in her pet room and she is fond of flowers. She has a small brother who cries a lot even though he is nine. She said it was because he got more love than she ever had so he became fragile. She likes to spend her daylight times in the garden and travel along the hills with the basket full of flowers in her hand. She likes to catch fireflies at night and once she had those in her palm of hand, she smiled the brightest bringing it closer so Chan could see her face in dim light. He smiled with her laying down in the open field talking small talks.

He told Miho about himself as well, that he is the first born of his family too and he has two more younger brothers. His father is a pack leader and is landlord of a big state. His mother is the beautiful woman who rules the pack alongside his dad and everybody calls her Mother Luna. His father was so impressed by her beauty that when he formed a pack he named it with her mother's name, Aurora Pack. He added that he thought there was only one beautiful lady unless he saw Miho. It seemed like he was flattering her but she had her own way.

Chan came to know in senses when she kissed him for the first time in the darkest of night. The fireflies were the only witness to them lying together in the dewed grass. And when the morning came, he could see her cheeks turning red when he kissed her again this time. She was beautiful with her perfectly carved nose and her small lips. Her little fingers tangled with his. She had a small waist which fitted right in his arms when he embraced her.
