he looked at me like i was beautiful
like i was more than the pain i've felt
the pain i endured.
but yet i didn't understand why
all i knew was that he made me feel less alone
I've never met someone quite like him
his touch feels like home
and his smile the brightest i've seen
when im so lost in fear.
he makes me feel safe, and sheltered.
i've spent my life running from love
but he gives me the courage to try
he is my whole life, stars, sky, and universe.
i hope he knows he's everything that makes the world whole.
