Three days later
"We need to go to your appointment," Kitty said as she walked over to Lara Jean who was curled up in her bed.
"Go away," Lara Jean mumbled. She didn't want to talk to anyone. She just wanted to rot away. She wanted all this to be a dream.
"No, we are going to the appointment, and you are going to find out how far along you are! I want my nephew healthy!"
Lara Jean turned to her, her eyes puffy and her hair greasy. "What if the baby is a girl?"
Kitty smiled, "It's a boy. I know it!"
Margot came upstairs. "As much as I hate that you broke your trust and he-who-cannot-be-named cheated on me with you of all people, Kitty is right. We need to check how far along you are and to see if the baby is healthy."
Lara Jean rolled her eyes. "I thought you didn't want to speak to me ever again," she said.
"I don't, but when it comes to babies, I cannot resist. Plus, this is the first grandchild for our parents. I don't want it to get hurt."
Lara Jean sighed as her sisters helped her up out of the bed and ushered her to the shower.

"When are Dad and Trina coming back from Africa?" Margot asked as she drove the fifteen minutes to the clinic.
"Next week," Kitty replied, turning down the music on her sister's cd player.
"Guess we'll have to break the news of them being grandparents then, huh?" Margot chuckled as she looked back at her sister laying haphazardly in the backseat of the beat-up red Hyundai sedan Margot now owned.
"I bought it in France!" Margot declared over the phone as she proudly showed off her car at the airport as the flight crew were hauling it off the plane.
"Oh, Gee. Kitty will wanna take it for a test drive!" Lara Jean laughed as Kitty smacked her head playfully.
"Hey, we're here!" Margot said. Kitty helped Lara Jean out of the car and they went inside to sign in.
Margot sighed and surveyed the multitude of expecting mothers and babies alike.
"Can't believe my little sister is having a kid!" She laughed sarcastically.
Kitty went over to the kids section and smiled at a few toddlers who were playing with the blocks. She made herself comfortable on the beanbag chair with her book on Shakespearean art while waiting for the nurse.
Five minutes later, a short black-headed woman called Lara Jean to the back, and her sisters followed.
"The doctor will be with you shortly," the nurse said and smiled at the three sisters before closing the door to the examination room.
"Could he-who-cannot-be-named not make it? It is his child's life, and therefore, should be here for the first appointment at least," Kitty's inquiring was met with silence as the doctor trotted in with a clipboard and an ultrasound machine.
"Ah, the Song-Covey sisters! Dan told me you would be coming by today! So, which one is having a baby?" He smiled.
Margot and Kitty looked over to Lara Jean who smiled awkwardly. "Dad doesn't know, does he?"
"No, he doesn't. He just thinks that Margot is getting a different birth control. Don't worry, he doesn't know about his grandchild. That's up to you to tell him," the doctor smiled.
"How does he know we were coming by?" Lara Jean asked. Kitty looked away.
"I might've told him last night that there was an appointment with Doctor Callaghan today. I didn't want him tracking our locations!" She said.
Margot smiled and looked at Doctor Callaghan. "Are you going to be able to let us know how far along my sister is?"
Doctor Callaghan smiled and nodded. "Yes, and we'll be able to detect the heartbeat. And I can also print off some pictures if you want," he nodded towards Lara Jean who nodded.
He clasped his hands together. "Alright, just lay back for me so I can get this show on the road!"

"Those photos are so cute!" Kitty mused, eyeballing the photos in Lara Jean's lap.
Lara Jean was fourteen weeks along. She had also provided blood work to find out the gender. Doctor Callaghan told her she should get the results in two weeks.
Lara Jean smiled at that and looked over the photos once more. This was real now. It felt real now. There was an actual baby growing inside her.
"Oh you have to be joking!" Margot said as she stopped the car to a halt and looked at the people waiting on the steps of their house.
Margot, Lara Jean, and Kitty stared at their father, step-mother, Josh, and Peter Kavinsky all waiting in the yard.
The girls exited the car slowly and was met with their father's glare. "Josh here told me why Lara Jean needed to go to Doctor Callaghan's office today."
Lara Jean looked down. "Dad, I'm sorry. I should have told you earlier. I wanted to make sure the baby was okay before announcing this," she said, gesturing to her tiny rounded stomach.
"Is the baby okay?" Trina asked. Trina was a lot like Kitty in a way. She loved babies.
Lara Jean nodded and pulled out the pictures from her jacket. "I'm fourteen weeks today," she beamed.
Trina hugged her and said, "We're grandparents, Dan!"
Dan laughed and hugged his daughter too. "He better not be a little troublemaker!"
"We don't know if it's a boy!" Lara Jean said.
Peter grabbed her hand as Josh drove off from the family.
"Josh doesn't want to be a part of this. He doesn't want a baby. But I do. I want a child. I want you." He kissed her lips and she smiled.
"I was beginning to think I'd have to be a single parent," she joked.
Peter shook his head. "No, not on my watch, LJ."
