It's weird how one day I can be walking down a street with my hair all made up. A school of young boys would be playing on the street and the only looks and comments I'd get would be like, "oh they're going to a wedding." Of course it wouldn't be said in English, but it's my native language too because they were also Jewish. But when I went to a public park to take pictures for my brothers bar mitzvah, people were staring, pointing, and making weird faces. There were few people that would tell us positive things. Of course there was that one person that came over to us and told us congratulations, which I thought was really sweet.
But here I was walking down the street with my little sister. We were both wearing easy clothes (mind you it's a really cold day) and no one on the street said anything accept for the boys mentioning the chasunah (wedding).
Anyways, I'm not really sure what I wanted to bring out by this but I felt like it may lead to something later on.
