"Cattail! We need Help!" Delta cried. "What? What's going on?" Cattail asked confused. Delta was running to the group, which was currently situated in the vacant female Sapphire Winglet dorm, with Inkscale leaning on her for support, covering her head with her wings. "Where's Dreamspeaker? Maybe he knows what's wrong!" "I'm fine-" Inkscale tried to insist but was cut off by a cry of pain. Delta took a deep breath and Cattail covered her ears. A few of the others took the hint and did the same. "DREAMSPEAKER!" She roared. There were cries of surprise and pain from some of their friends that didn't cover their ears. Less than four seconds later a very befuddled Dreamspeaker stumbled in. "Wha-" he didn't even get to finish his sentence. "Fix her!" Delta commanded fiercely. "Fix who?" Dreamspeaker was still confused. He then noticed Inkscale. His face had a clear 'Oh' expression. "I really don't need to be fixed. I'm okay." Inkscale pushed. Her eyes were closed tight and her talons were placed on her head. She then cried out again, proving she was not okay. Suddenly her eyes flew open. They were glowing. She stood calmly and spoke; her voice was different and monotone, but foreboding at the same time.

"Beware the shadow of a betraying friend,

Beware the dragon who met her end.

For unless the spirit of war can be stopped,

And the sibling elements brought,

The world will fall to rage

And the Queen of Blood will be the cage.

Beware the one who is not what she seems,

For secrets she keeps to only her dreams

Can find the four,

Who have faced the queen before.

The saviors of yellow, red, brown, black, blue

And one of no certain hue

Will save the land

If only they will stand."

As soon as she finished speaking the glow faded and she stumbled. The entire group just stared at her. "D-did I say that out loud?" She asked. Dreamspeaker slowly nodded. She groaned. "Was that a prophecy?" Ali asked. "I thought the powers were lies?" Drought responded. "Rule one, Nightwings lie." Dreamspeaker said bluntly, scowling. "Did no one besides me hear the queen of blood and fall to war part?" Chasm asked, his voice slightly higher pitched than usual. Prim had turned a bright, sickly green, the color of fear. She looked like she might pass out. "Um, does somebody need to write that down before we forget it?" Dragonfly asked. "I'll do it!" Pond volunteered. "Seriously, was that a prophecy?" Rattlesnake asked Inkscale calmly, looking her in the eye. "Yeah, it was." She said quietly. "Should we tell someone?" Chasm asked. "No!" Inkscale, Prim, and Dreamspeaker yelled at the same time, earning all of them weird looks. "Please, don't!" Prim pleaded. "Nightwings aren't supposed to have powers, but some do! How do you think they would react about Inkscale? I'm just trying to protect my princess." Inkscale gave her a weird look at that but Prim was giving them all huge pleading eyes and her voice was desperate. "Same here." Dreamspeaker added. None of them had the heart to deny Prim. The gong rang, making half the room jump. "We've got to go," Mirage said. "But we are talking about this tomorrow." She added sternly, giving the room her school famous death glare. "Let's meet in your dorm," Prim said, motioning at Chasm, Drought, and Dreamspeaker. "After all, Ember will be in here tomorrow because it's the last day of the week." The gong rang for the second time. "Three moons!" Chasm yelped and everyone darted out. "Watch out!" Someone cried in panic outside the door. "Sorry Ember!" Cattail heard Droughts apologetic call. "What was that about?" Ember asked, coming in. "It looked like half the school was hanging out in our dorm. Rattlesnake nearly got his tail burned off." "They were late!" Prim told her cheerily, all signs of her previous distress gone. "Why'd they wait so long to leave if they were going to be late?" Cattail shrugged. "Their missing their sixth sense." Prim explained. Both Ember and Cattail gave her strange looks. "What sixth sense?" Ember questioned. "Common sense!" Prim answered cheerily, hopping into her hammock. Ember just shook her head while Cattail laughed. "Prim, I don't think I'll ever understand you." Ember commented. "Join the club." Cattail told her. Prim just grinned.

A/N

Hello! Yep, another one. Or was that my other book I kept doing these in? I'm too lazy to check. Anyway, comments on the prophecy? I'm not too good at writing them, but I did my best! Did it give anyone any ideas on what might be going? Anyway, see you all for the next chapter (I hope!).

Allons-y! ---
