My Hero Law and Order SVU

School trip day

Mols Pov
Urgh I thought to myself as I woke up remembering I got that stupid trip to the NYPD SVU with my class as we where learning about laws and crime in class. I turned to face my clock it was 5:30 am got get up I guess and get my twin sisters up.

I rolled out of bed and put on my favourite black baggy hoodie and walked to my sisters room.
"Hey girls it's time to get up" I said gently and stood at there door.

"Morning sissy" they both said and I smiled at the adorableness.
"We got get up and get ready for school you girls get ready and I go make some breakfast". I said as they nodded and went to get themselves ready.
Right now I need to head downstairs and see if it's safe and make their breakfast, as I was walking down the stairs I started to smell the awful smell of alcohol it makes me sick that my some what of a father turn into an alcoholic and a creep and who didn't care for his kids as I walked past the living room I saw him and his two friends passed out on the floor and sofa surrounded by empty alcohol bottles and drugs on the coffee table. I mentally threw up It honestly disgusted me to my core.

When I walked into the kitchen it was a mess post and pans and dishes everywhere the bins where full and smelly. I can't be bothered to clean this up I think I will stop by and get the girl breakfast I went back upstairs to get myself ready.
Once upstairs I saw my sisters sitting on my bed waiting for me. I sighed "listens to me girls I'm going to get myself ready then I'm taking you two to get breakfast on the way to school they both looked at each happily. I gave them a small smile once I was done I grabbed my school bag and jacket and my wallet and we headed out the door. And started walking up to a little cafe up the road from our apartment.

"Hello my two little favourite customers" the lady said with a warm smile on her face.
"Morning" the girls said together. "Why don't you to go sit down at the table while I get your breakfast" I said with a warm smile. And watch them go to the table.
"So how my favourite customer today" miss Luna said with a smile.
"Can I get two mini muffins with two glass of chocolate milk and can I have my normal coffee please" I said. "I'm alright tried and annoyed" I said "oh dear and why are you annoyed" asked miss Luna.

While my class have got a trip to the SVU unit today as we're learning about laws and crimes in New York and we going to speak to some officer and detectives and asks about there work". I said irritated. "Well that sounds cool and I actually know to of the lovely people who work there and they are very lovely and kind" miss Luna said. "Oh" I said "well that makes me a little less anxious about it ty Luna" I said as she gave me my order.
"No problem my dear and don't worry about the coat this order is on me". She said with a smile. "Thank you very much" I said with a smile I walked back to the table where my sister where I felt sad as luna remained me of my mum who sadly passed after my sisters 5 birthday from an illness she had been battling.
"Hey girls got your muffins". They got really excited and I smiled at their silliness. "Well eat up we got to get going soon".

While they where waiting I texted my friend asking if she could pick us up as she was passing this way anyway.

Mols- hi ember are you ok to pick us up at our usual spot?

Ember- ye sure I'm pulling up right now you excited for our trip today

Mols- not really you know this things don't help my anxiety and I'm kind scared as this people are trained to spot victims of abuse and sexual assault and other crimes

Ember- yes they are and I honestly was thinking about it you should report your father as his behaviour is illegal and he's assaulted you and we been collecting evidence of it two these people could help you.

Mols- I know but I can't let my sister get out into the foster system as it's shit and I'm the only one who can protect them and look after them I also promise my mother I would look after them.

Ember- I know but you can't you are a full time student and you work on weekends and I don't mind looking after your sisters but I also worry for your mental health to.

Mols- I know I'm alright anyways I see you pulling up see you in a min

I Love ember to bits she my bestie but she can really irritate me sometimes she the only one who knows about my father and the stuff he does to me but he only hurts me as I promise to obey him so my sisters don't end like me I have to protect them at all costs if if it kills me.

"Ok girls time to go" I said as put a tip in luna's jar on the way out and helped my sisters into the car and hopped into the passenger seat and we headed off to school.
