Mileena is seen waking up wincing as she rubs her head she then looks to the side and sees Kitana and her mother
Mileena: Mother sister.
The two women quickly embrace Mileena giving her a strong hug
Sindel: Are you ok?
Mileena: y-yes what happene-
Mileena then grunts in pain and grabs her head remembering the fight that broke out and her eventually getting knocked out
Mileena: Where is Y/N!
Both Sindel and Kitana look down before looking back at her
Mileena: Take me to him.
Kitana: Sister it is best if you-
Mileena then cuts her off her eyes turning to slits before she yells at Kitana
Mileena: I SAID TAKE ME TO HIM NOW!!!
Mileena is then led to a room that she knows all to well. A room where those close to the royal family are held after they have passed. She then walks forward and sees a pile of bones with a partially melted sword laying next to it and she lightly gasps before breaking down crying.
Kitana: T-this was all that was left when I came to.
Mileena: I want a moment to myself please.
Both Sindel and Kitana don't say anything instead just giving Mileena one last hug before walking out of the room.
Mileena then gently caresses the skull of her now deceased lover while sobbing. But the sobbing quickly stops and her face turns to one of anger. The princess then balls her fists and her eyes once again sharpen. She was going to make those Earthrealmer's pay and she was going to make them scream out for help even if it was the last thing she did.
(Scene change)
Liu Kang and Geras are seen walking in a circle around a fire inside the temple
Liu Kang: Shang Tsung and Quan Chi again conspire against Earthrealm? What Johnny and Kenshi report should not be possible. You witnessed how I rewrote history. I gave them meaningless lives...They should not have regained power, let alone join forces.
Geras: And your work was flawless. Such would their lives have been, had someone not interfered.
This cause the Fire God to stop walking as he looks over at Geras with a confused look on his face
Liu Kang: Interfered? What do you mean?
Geras then walks towards the fire in the center of the room and moves his hands in an upward motion causing the smoke to form into a mysterious lady talking to both Quan Chi and Shang Tsung
Geras: Both sorcerers were visited by this person. It is her intervention that bent the arcs of their lives
Liu Kang: Who is she?
Geras: Unknown. Her identity has been obscured from the hourglass
Liu Kang: But the only one who could have that power is Kronika. But unless she has somehow been resurrected I am unsure that should be impossible.
Geras: You are correct and the only way for her to have been resurrected is if.
Liu Kang: Someone else survived the previous timeline. Someone with a vendetta against me.
The air the grows heavy as both Liu Kang and Geras look at the mysterious woman now suspected to be Kronika wondering who from the previous timeline survived and what their end goal is
