Can't Stop Me (Girl Meets World Fanfic)

Royalty meets boy

(A/n:Sorry I'm kind of skipping the rest of episode 1 because well, I'm lazy.)

At school, the bell rings, outside the classroom in front of the lockers are three girls. Maya, Royalty and Riley.

"Can you absolutely believe that having phones give most people 20% of brain power to the point they could take over the world?" Royalty asks as she's texting Lucas. The two girls look at her weirdly before looking at each other.

"I don't understand how could anyone think that." Maya replies.

"Well obviously, I was lying. That's not the point I was trying to come across. Now let me say this, our phones have a 60% chance of taking over the world and I want to make sure I have that 100% chance of living before I die and go into the anime world." Royalty tells them, looking at them with a straight face, before smiling hearing her phone go off.

Maya just blinks at her while Riley looks at her and looks at Lucas.

"What's the point of communicating if your just going to use your phones and text?" Riley asks.

"Well Riley-Piley, the point of it is that." Royalty starts. "Most people are to shy to even say anything to the person they like. Example, you and Bruce, you text him." She says, taking her sisters phone out of her pocket. "You look at him across the other side of the room to see him staring at you before looking down." As of cue Riley looks at Bruce and he looks back before looking down blushing. Same goes with Riley.

"And he texts back again saying how much you are pretty." and again a ding comes on and Bruce's name is shown.

"How?" Maya and Riley both ask her. "It's a gift." Royalty shrugs. "Okay, how about this." She starts again."you take Riley's and I's phone, Maya and me and her will go talk to our boy crushes." Royalty says giving Maya her and Riley's phones.

Going up to Lucas and Riley going up to Bruce, Royalty sits down besides Lucas. "Hi Lucas, how are you?" Royalty greets him. "I'm good you?" Lucas greets back.

"I'm also good, this is probably cringe, but anyways, I'm showing Maya that me and you can communicate very well, right?" Royalty asks Lucas who looks back to see Maya looking at her phone.

"Yeah" Lucas looks back at Royalty with love in his eyes. "We do."

Royalty smiles back and looks at Riley to see her smelling Bruce. "I-l" Royalty starts before looking at Lucas who looks at her in concern. "Um... you know what, I just remembered something." Royalty got up, and before Lucas could even say anything she walks back to Maya who stares at her confused.

"Look." Royalty says pointing at Riley who comes back to them.

"You smelled him?" Royalty asks.

"You smelled him?!!" Maya whispers/yells.

"I did" Riley replies back.

"You smelt him is what you did?" Maya asks.

"Hey, I work the way I work." Riley says taking her phone back.

"Can we at least talk about this?" Maya complains.

Before walking off Riley texts in the group chat before walking off.

Royalty and Maya both look at each other then their phones.

"Nope." They both answer for themselves.

Walking into the classroom, Cory sees everyone besides Maya and Royalty on their phones.

"You guys don't connect with each other." Cory starts.

"I'd say." Royalty mutters, as she is texting her best friend from another school.

"It's like you can't exist without these" Cory explains as he takes Royalty's phone away from her. "You're an unfeeling generation of zombies."

Both Maya and Riley pretend to be zombies trying to eat each other.

Royalty looks at them weirdly and then shudders in disgust.

"Stop eating her." Cory demands pointing at Riley which makes them stop.

The door to the classroom opens, and a student named Myzell comes in.

"You're late, miss Myzell." Cory greets in his teacher voice.

Myzell looks at him deadpan and flatly tells him. "My goldfish died."

"Oh no, I'm so sorry for your loss." Royalty sympathizes for her classmates pet fish, patting her hand, which is also patted back.

Cory looks at the class. "You see? This is what I'm taking about. Miss Myzell has clearly suffered a tragic loss.-"

"-Which is a fish-." Royalty chimes in.

"-Yet she does not seem in touch with her actual emotions!" Cory explains.

"Okay, that's rude-." Royalty gets cut off.

"-'Scuze me? I am crying my eyes out. I'm gonna have to leave class early." Myzell flatly says leaving out of the classroom.

"We can do that?" Royalty asks in shock.

"Oh, she actually made it out the door this time." Cory says in a surprised voice looking at the students before opening the door.

"I actually made it out the door this time." Myzell says excitedly, walking in and high-fiving Royalty.

"Nice, teach me how to do that without getting grounded." Royalty smiles at her, meanwhile Cory just gets offended.

"Dad, adjust and deal. Cellphones have been around for, like, ever." Riley smartly says.

"Uh, no cellphones have been around since about the 90s, not everyone had the privilege to buy or use a phone" Royalty explains. Cory points at Royalty as an thank you for explaining that to her.

"It'll amaze you to know that there was a whole world before you and cellphones." Cory says.

"And it'll amaze you to know that I have 394 friends in here." Riley responds back as she taps on her phone.

"Riley-.... Not everyone is your friend." Royalty tries to explain but is ignored.

"This is a timeline of all human existence. Starting here is everyone who ever lived, laughed, loved, and understood the value of life." Corey teaches making a line across the board. "The cellphone era, which begins right around here pretty much destroys all of that." He says looking back at the students. "Way to go, you."
