It has been a couple of weeks since I saw Dimitri after finding out about the marriage alliance I just need time to think
Val and I haven't been feeling well these past few days turns out that a kid had the flu an gave it to half the class
We were currently in my bed rewatching Moana for the third time today
"Mama pay attention" Val's says
"I'm paying attention butterfly" I say looking up from my phone
" Mama when are we going to hang out with Dimitri again" she says catching me off guard
" I'm not sure why you ask baby" I said, giving her all my attention

I stay silent not knowing exactly what to answer her. I mean I will have to tell her that we might be getting married,but how do I explain that to her will she be all right with it?

"He's really nice and I like that he makes you smile so I guess he can be my new daddy" she says before turning her head back to the TV

Before getting in the shower, I text my dad asking him if he could take Val for a couple hours while I deal with some things at the office
He responsive, saying that he'll be there in 15 minutes
I take a quick shower a quick shower and doing my makeup routine it doesn't take long before Val comes back in my room with clothes she's picked out
I put my robe on, not wanting to get fully dressed, knowing that once I put Val in the tub, she's just gonna splash the water over me
