Y/n's POV It was a lovely night, well except for the fact that my boyfriend is terrified for his life right now
"I'm going to die!" Romeo said throwing his hands up in the air "it would help if you'd stop panicking love" I told him putting on my heels for dinner
We were having dinner with my family, which would normally be fine but my father is Cristiano Ronaldo and mi tío (my uncle) is (Y/U/N) (L/N) who is the (ex, supposedly) rival of his dad David Beckham
So as you can imagine, death may be on the table tonight
"Y/n you do realize that your uncle and mine literally almost murdered each other on the field once right?" Romeo said
"They played on the same time at one time as well" I told him standing up
"That didn't stop them from attacking each other at every chance they got" he said nervous
I looked at him before giving him a soft kiss, "Romeo you aren't going to die unless you start something which I would hope your parents raised you with enough manners not to do that, if anything happens I'll be there to put both of them in their places, I promise" I said as he wrapped his arms around my waist
"I just don't want to die while at dinner" Romeo said "they wouldn't do it at dinner, too many witnesses" I said honestly which made him gulp nervously
I gave him a look, yes I am aware I'm bringing him into enemy territory but he has to be able to accept my family or I can't be with him, yes he's very important to me but so is my family
He nodded and we walked hand in hand to his car and drove to dinner
We went to the table with my entire family, at least 20 people not including my young cousins and siblings
I could tell he was nervous as he was gripping at my hand
"Princesa" Meu papai (my dad) said getting up to hug me "Papai" I said as I hugged him
I could tell he was giving Romeo a look, so I gave him one and said "papai deixe-o em paz" aka leave him alone
He looked at me and nodded (I knew he wouldn't regardless but I didn't want him terrorizing Romeo when he's already so anxious)
"Entonces este es mi novio, Romeo Beckham. então este é meu namorado, Romeo Beckham" I said to my family, repeating myself as it was both my dads family and my mom's family and they don't all speak the same language
so this is my boyfriend, Romeo Beckham
"parece un insignificante" mi tío said "y/u/n" my grandfather said to him
He looks like a pipsqueak
We sat down and my dad's first thing he said was
"Ok Romeo one simple question before we do anything, who is the greatest player in football history?" My dad said in English with his Portuguese accent sticking out a little bit
Romeo looked scared as he answered "you, sir"
My dad looked at him and smiled "you can call me Cristiano" he said
"Shall we get a nice dinner selfie?" Mi tío said and we all nodded and took the selfie
