Bagging Taehyung, or trying to do so,  was easier said than done.

For one, the omega absolutely despised anyone of lower social status than himself, which wasn't exactly an issue to Jungkook seeing as they were of the same class, or at least that's what Jungkook thought when he was rating himself according to Taehyung's standards(with them being owners of big companies), and he was rather picky with whom to interact with as he was doing currently in the board meeting requested of him by his father, the chairman of the company.

The truth is that, Jungkook hadn't expected the omega to throw himself at him as soon as he saw him and from the rumours that went around, Taehyung was a hard game to score therefore he hadn't expected it to be a walk in the park.

However, he still hoped that he would leave an irreversible mark on the omega's life, enough to give Jungkook his attention.

Seeing as Jungkook was now part of Kim Industries Inc. as a result of the merger they had signed the previous day, he was expected to be at the board meeting to discuss about the way forward after the merger.

"Mr Jeon, welcome to the company", Taehyung's father says and Jungkook bows

"Thank you for accepting my proposal, Mr Kim", he says and the older man smiles

"You're such a great alpha, I wonder if there's anyone you are interested in settling down with yet"

Jungkook would have told Taehyung's father that he was interested in his son but that would be rushing things too much seeing as they were just starting to get to know each other.

"Not currently. I'm still waiting for the right person to come while I make preparations for married life", Jungkook replies with a small smile, glancing at Taehyung who was picking at his nails with a small pout.

"Well then, I would like to propose that in order to seal this merger even more, you could have my son's hand in marriage as well", Mr Kim(Taehyung's dad) says and Jungkook almost choked on his spit.

Taehyung who had not in the least been interested in the meeting was all of a sudden alert.

"WHAT??? THERE IS NO WAY I'M MARRYING THAT GUY!", Taehyung exclaims in protest and his father frowns, pheromones permeating the air in the board room.

"You are in your prime as an omega and I'm not getting any younger. I want to see my grand children before I leave this god-damned world", Taehyung's father continues

"I'm sorry, but that's not happening. At least, not with this guy. I'm never marrying him", Taehyung says, his scent now smelling like sour strawberries which Jungkook doesn't like because Taehyung deserved to smell all happy and sated.

"Why not? He's a good looking, wealthy, responsible alpha. I wouldn't recommend any other alpha to be your husband", Taehyung's father presses and Taehyung sighs

Jungkook who had been silent the entire time finally spoke up.

"It would be my honour to be your son's alpha Mr Kim, but it will be better if Taehyung himself loves me as well. I wouldn't want to force him into a relationship which he doesn't want"

"See. This is what I was talking about, Taehyung. Mr Jeon here, is also caring as well. You heard him being worried about your well being, didn't you? Why would you not want to be mated to him?"

"Okay, okay. I'll think about it," Taehyung says

"Well, be fast with it. I need an answer before the celebratory party", Taehyung's dad says and Taehyung whines
