Chapter 8

~Ciel's POV~

I ran out to somewhere to temporarily stay. I bet (Y/N) doesn't want me to get involved with this situation, so I don't really plan on going back to my manor.

After hours of trying to not show my face and searching for a place to stay for the night, I found a place. It was in a dark alleyway that seemed like nobody went in there, so I stayed there for the rest of the day.

I wonder what's happening to (Y/N)...?

~(Y/N)'s POV~

"Don't even plan on breaking out of there!" Hannah yelled, locking me in a cell. I sighed as I fell onto the bed and stared at the ceiling.
'What shall I do?' I thought to myself.
I was only given a sandwich for dinner. It wasn't that great.
Through the little cracks of the brick walls, I could see that it was already sunset. Time goes fast, doesn't it?

-Time Skip; 1 Day Later-
~Ciel's POV~

I woke up to common going on somewhere here. What now?!

I ran all over the village to find what was going on. I was curious to know.
To my surprise, I found a large crowd crowding a guillotine. Who could be killed?
I was curious to know. Trying to cover my face, I shoved my way through the crowd to get a close-up.

(Y-Y/N)?!
I was shocked to see her through the head part of the guillotine. She was tied up.

This can't be happening. Why does (Y/N) have to die?!
One of the men at the side signaled that the large blade was ready to be let go of and fall on her neck.

I started crying. This was the first time I even cried in a long time.

Right before the man let go of the blade, I looked up at her and saw her looking straight at me and smiling.

"C-Ciel, thanks for the memories. I love yo-"

SNAP!

Blood splattered everywhere. Her head disconnected from the rest of her body.

The crowd was cheering.

Her now decapitated head dropped on the wooden floor of the guillotine.

My tears got even more intense.
I was shocked. Scarred for life. Seeing my only friend get killed was the last thing I wanted to see.

Oh, and yes, (Y/N), I love you too. It was nice meeting you. Thanks for the good times.
