The guys flew over to their college, landing gracefully on the campus grounds. YN and Kakarot headed to their room, exchanging their traditional Thraxan garb for more familiar attire.
In their room, YN and Kakarot changed into normal clothing. "Feels good to be back in regular gear," YN remarked, adjusting his shirt.
Mark caught up with William, reliving college life, and later visited Amber's dorm. After spending a few hours socializing, Mark returned home to see his mom, Debbie. Meanwhile, YN and Kakarot pursued their individual plans.
YN entered the bustling halls of the Pentagon, a place he hadn't visited in quite a while. As he made his way to Cecil's office, he was met with a stern-faced receptionist who directed him to the right room.
Cecil's office door swung open, and YN was greeted by the no-nonsense figure. "YN, back from your cosmic escapade, I see," Cecil remarked with a hint of sarcasm.
"Hey, Cecil. Yeah, about that..." YN started but was swiftly cut off.
Cecil's scolding ensued, his voice echoing through the office walls as he berated YN for venturing into space without a moment's notice. "You can't just jet off to save aliens you've never met! Earth needs you here," Cecil emphasized.
YN, undeterred, defended his actions passionately. "Cecil, saving lives is what matters. It doesn't matter where they're from. If I can help, I will."
The argument lingered in the air until a ceasefire was declared. Cecil, realizing the uniqueness of YN's situation, spoke with a touch of understanding. "You and your brothers are a pain in my ass. Anyway, your baby brother will get Earth citizenship. We'll sort out the paperwork."
YN, curious, questioned Cecil, "How did you find out about the kid?"
Cecil leaned back in his chair, a faint smile on his face. "Visited Debbie shortly after your cosmic adventure."
Simultaneously, Kakarot soared through the skies toward Art Rosenbaum's place. An idea had been lingering in his mind – a change of attire. The Viltrumite symbol on his current suit no longer resonated with him, and he sought something new.
"Hey, kid, what can I do for you?" Art greeted Kakarot.
"I came here because I think it's time for a change," Kakarot declared.
Art listened as Kakarot detailed his vision for the new suit, jotting down notes. Seizing the opportunity, Art asked, "This is a drastic shift from your previous design. Are you planning to adopt a new superhero name?"
Kakarot, pondering the question, admitted, "Yeah I got one."
"Let's hear it then," Art encouraged him. "It's a play on the letters of the word Oozaru. The name I was thinking of was Captain Zaru, or Zaru for short," Kakarot told Art.
"Making progress already," Art says.
Donald suddenly barged into the room explaining that a villain had mind controlled multiple people as well as the Guardians.
As YN, now in his Invulnerable persona, prepared to take action, Cecil's weariness echoed in the room. "Jesus, can't they just win, just once? That's all I ask for," he sighed, expressing the exhaustion that came with managing superheroes.
Without wasting a moment, Cecil handed YN a set of earpieces. "Give them to your brothers. But right now, can you—" Cecil began, but YN was already on it. "On it," he replied, swiftly inserting the earpiece.
Invulnerable soared through the skies, directed by Cecil to the location of the incident. He arrived to witness the chaos—the mind-controlling villain perched atop a car, surrounded by manipulated Guardians and pedestrians.
