delilah's pov.

the brunette was sitting on her bed, her laptop on her lap as she typed away on the keys. she was finishing up her book report for her college english class. she was a couple days behind and it was due in the next few days; she had just begun the report. she had decided to read the book, pride and prejudice - it quickly became her favorite book or one of them at least.

she fell in love with the character, elizabeth bennet. she admired how headstrong elizabeth was and how fiercely independent she was. delilah's favorite quote from the book was : "it is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."

the brunette began clicking the keys as she typed : 'this is the first sentence of the book and stands as one of the most famous first lines in literature. even as it briskly introduces the arrival of mr. bingley at netherfield—the event that sets the novel in motion—this sentence also offers a miniature sketch of the entire plot, which concerns itself with the pursuit of "single men in possession of a good fortune" by various female characters. the preoccupation with socially advantageous marriage in nineteenth-century english society manifests itself here, for in claiming that a single man "must be in want of a wife," the narrator reveals that the reverse is also true: a single woman, whose socially prescribed options are quite limited, is in (perhaps desperate) want of a husband.' delilah smiled softly as she continued clacking away. she enjoyed reading this book, she enjoyed dissecting it from beginning to end, and she loved learning about elizabeth and the other characters. when she read, she was taken into the fictional world, and this was - by far - one of her favorites.

delilah continued to tap the keys as she continued to write her report. it had to be at least 5 pages and she just finished page three.

as the words continued to pour from the brunette, she heard a soft ping from her from - notifying her that she had an instagram notification. she sat her laptop next to her on the mattress, and grabbed her phone. the notification read : 'sturniolo.triplets made a post.'

the brunette clicked the notification and let her phone load the screen.
