The Surprise

The pictures on the cover are the kids from oldest to youngest: Josh, Jessa, Hannah-Claire, Olivia, Ava & Emma, Liam & Sophie, Mari, Audrey, and Ziall Baby 3, whose name will be revealed in later chapters.

Harry gave Audrey her bottle, noticing the way she latched on hungrily. He smiled down at his daughter and cooed softly at her. 

"Hawee?"Mari, Zayn and Niall's two-year old, had toddled into the kitchen on her little chicken legs, looking for something to get into.

"Hi, Mar-Mar," the curly-haired man said. "Have you seen your daddies?"

"Daddy?"

"Yes, love, your Daddy. Have you seen them?"

"Mari!" It was Harry's oldest daughter, Jessa, was ten years old and looked exactly like her other dad. She scooped the baby up and smiled at her father. "Hi Dad."

"Hey Jess. Have you seen Uncle Zayn and Uncle Niall?"

"Yeah, they're in the living room, waiting for you to finish feeding Audrey. Also, Dad said to get the cherry-flavoured lube, whatever that is." She wrinkled her nose, clearly not understanding her dad's words, then took Mari and went into the living room.

Harry shivered. Cherry-flavoured lube. He knew he would be topping tonight, because that was his favourite kind of lube. (Louis likes the green apple. He says it makes his mouth tingle after Harry comes.) Once a month, the kids go to their grandparents' houses, and Liam, Danielle, Zayn, Niall, Louis, and Harry all go out to eat together, then the respective couples head to their rented hotel rooms and enjoy themselves. This time, however, Zayn and Niall had an announcement to make before everyone went to where ever they were going.

Harry put Audrey on her back, her head on his shoulder. He patted her back a few times before she let out a satisfied burp and some spit-up dribbled down her chin. Harry cleaned it up and kissed the tip of the baby's nose.

Prancing into the living room, Harry saw that everyone was already sitting down, waiting for him. He sat next to his husband and pressed a chaste kiss to his lips, murmuring "You fucking tease" before looking expectantly at Zayn and Niall, who stood at the head of the crowd.

"Um, so, two years ago, Niall and I had our beautiful daughter, Mari," Zayn started. "And I had been thinking it over, so I asked him, and he said yes."

"I'm pregnant again!" Niall beamed.

Harry had the perfect family.
