In ancient Greek times there was a Catholic church that, in an attempt to learn more about the evils of the world, channeled the spirits of the horoscopes. They couldn't control them and the spirits escaped into 12 of the highest priests. The by-standers thought that the spirits were attacking them. When they managed to get the spirits out, they jumped to conclusions and cursed the spirits to never return home permanently. The spirits could only jump from host to host, only returning home for 2 weeks at a time, each time their host died. Their home was another reality and it was only open to non-spirits once a year, to remember the incident at the church.
The only way to break the curse is to gather all of the spirits' host and use the celestial sword, located somewhere in the world to split open the host, but not actually harm them, once this has been accomplished the spirits will be sucked into the sword. And on that one night a year, you may return them to their home forever.
The evil that the church was trying to learn about was the only thing that spirits have to fear. This demon is a spirit engulfing monster by the name of chaos, that if he collects all of the spirits then he may have the power to run the world into to chaos and possibly end it.
Only those worthy to defeat the monster can. And when it is time, they will know.
This person or people must aquire a spirit of their own in them, if they do not have one, it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to overcome the monster.
