Stolen Kiss

Week 1

Bowie's POV:
   I step off my boat onto the dock. I'm the second person to arrive. There's only one other person here so far. "Oh well.." I think to myself as I wait to see the other cast members. As they keep arriving, I notice the next incoming boat has not one, but two people on it. Interesting.. When they get off their boat, I move closer to get a good look at the two of them. They seem to be close, which doesn't bother me. Once everyone arrives, I look around to get an idea of who I should and shouldn't trust. I look around at my teammates and sigh, I'm going to share a cabin with them for the next 8 weeks...

"Just so you all know, I need a full 8 hours of sleep or it will NOT be pretty in the morning." I point my finger at all of my teammates. Of course, there are a few eyerolls from some people but whatever.

As our team walks to the cabin to settle in, I look around at my bunkmates for the next few weeks. I should learn their names though, that's the smart thing to do.

"Okay, so, I'm Bowie, what are your names?" I ask.

"I'm Wayne, and this is my buddy Raj!" Wayne points to Raj, who waves.

"Okay... and what about you, cutie?" I ask the handsome man who's sitting across from me.

"Oh me? I'm Caleb." He says, smiling at me. I feel my heart racing.. God, ...he's so cute! I sigh, my heart heavy.

"Okay, now that we got past that, what do you think our first challenge will be?" I question, looking around at my cabin mates.

"Maybe a catwalk?" Caleb suggests

"What about an obstacle course?" Raj implies

"Hmm, an obstacle course doesn't seem too far-fetched.." I say, looking over at Raj.

"Yeah, maybe Raji's right! That does seem like something total drama would do.." Wayne adds.

"You two never cease to surprise me sometimes.." I sigh. Soon enough the announcement from Chris goes off, telling us all to meet in the forest for the first challenge of the season. As our team walks through the forest, I notice Raj and Wayne are always by one another. "How silly.." I thought to myself.

Raj's POV:

  As I'm walking with my team to our first challenge, I spend most of the time laughing at some jokes with Wayne. Every so often, I catch Bowie glancing over at me. As odd as I find it, I don't question it. Once we arrived at the location we were told that we saw an obstacle course set up.

"So, I was right! Wow!" I say, shocked.

"Yeah, you were buddy!" Wayne High-fives me and I laugh as I return the high-five.

The rules for the course are as such:
• each team member will be set up at a different station, and once each person completes their part of the course, they must high-five or "tag" the next team member.

• The first team to finish is the team that earns immunity.

• The order for our team's stations is as such:
• Raj
• Wayne
• Bowie
• Julia
• MK
• Emma
• Caleb 

  Once the whistle blows, I take off at lightning speed. I glide across the grease covered platform with ease, it's almost like I'm at a hockey game, and I finish with ease! I then tag Wayne and he takes off as well, he struggles for a little bit but he manages to get through fairly quickly. Wayne proceeds to tag Bowie, and he does amazing! I begin to feel my cheeks heating up.... "Oh my god! Am I blushing at the sight of Bowie?! Am I- Am I gay??" I think to myself. Bowie finishes his part of the course quickly and tags Julia. She struggles for a little bit but makes it through. She tags MK, who also struggles for a little while. She makes it through and tags Emma who easily makes it through. Emma tags Caleb, who struggles a LOT. I walked over to Wayne's post so I could talk to him. Sure enough, the other team finishes first and we lose. I look at Wayne with a sad expression and sigh.

"Well, now we've gotta send someone home.." I look down, I feel really bad about sending someone home, but I worry I could be sent home too.

"Don't sweat it, bro! I'm sure we'll win the next challenge!"Wayne encourages

"Yeah, you have a good point," I reply

Soon enough the time comes for the campfire ceremony. I take a seat next to Wayne and wait for Chris to start talking... It feels like hours, but he begins reading the names...

"Bowie.."

"Emma.."

"Julia.."

"Wayne..."

I slowly notice that my name hasn't been called yet.. I begin to worry, but to my relief, Chris calls my name.

"Raj.."

I happily received my marshmallow. I realize that The Last Marshmallow could go to either MK or Caleb.. I wait for Chris to call the final name.

"MK.."

  I look at Wayne, that means Caleb is going home. Everyone on the team watches as he walks down the dock of shame as he's carried away by a drone. Our team makes their way back to their cabins. I get ready for bed and lay down on my bunk under Wayne's. I don't go to sleep right away, instead, I think about how I blushed at Bowie earlier, and it makes me question..

Am I gay..?
