My Girlfriend is a Tsundere Villainess

Prologue

Someone is calling me.

The voice is very familiar.

My chest is burning, I cannot say anything.

With a bitter smile, I hide myself in a corner.

I had just finished my work, and was on my way home. I opened my phone and played my favorite game when I was on the last train of the day. I had very few hobbies: building model kits, collecting anime figures and novels, and playing games.

My favorite game was a visual novel, where I had to choose my route for the protagonist, and there must be a man in that route. However, I had a different approach just for myself.

From the abandoned house where I hid myself, I can see a lot of monsters searching for me. I had encountered them in the Black Forest and been injured.

And, I also saw a familiar girl swinging her sword toward the demons. I mumbled dumbfoundedly.

"Eupheria?"

Eupheria switches it up and spins, a cyan light now creating a wave of ice when she strikes it into the ground that freezes the Ursa Warrior in place. It swings again, but Eupheria runs ahead and jumps on the sword. Glanzenschwert is now glowing yellow, and she rolls on the broadsword and slashes at her foe, destroying the ice crystals in shards of purple but impaling its weapon into the ground. She rotates the hilt again and a snowflake circle spins under her when the Ursa Warrior tries to hammer its fist down on her, but she rolls out of the way and activates the magic circle, launching the Warrior up into the air and trapping it with Eupheria' beams of blue energy.

However, it is far from over.

Monsters surrounding her move about, a Lycan raising its head up to the sky and growling. Black smoke unfurls from around its head as it turns to watch the flight path of Eupheria.

Eupheria waits for the right moment, and then pulls the trigger on Glanzenschwert. The Lycan screams as its wing is cut off. Eupheria descends toward the village while the bisected Lycan drifts apart. She lands on a statue of a hooded woman, demolishing it.

Eupheria's hood falls back as she straightens. Eyes closed, she holds still where the statue once stood. A Beowulf approaches her while she is focused inwardly. It licks its teeth and moves closer, attracting the attention of other Beowulfs. They all move to surround her, their red eyes leaving glowing trails. Eupheria remains posed, Glanzenschwert in her left hand.

Abruptly, Eupheria's eyes narrow and there is a beat before they open, a dangerous look in them. Her head moves forward and she crouches. Her cloak arches upward toward her body and Eupheria transforms into a swirl of snowflakes. The swirl propels itself forward through the air. As it reaches the first Beowulf, Eupheria is seen in slow motion, petals behind her, swinging her rapier at the monster.

She lands on her feet as she knocks it offscreen. She bounds up again taking out a second, and turns to take out a third. Moving into the circle of monsters behind her she slashes at them, taking out a total of eight before running to attack the ninth. As it goes down, two more put themselves in front of Eupheria. The one in the foreground roars at her, but she is unfazed. As it leaps on her, she takes it out, the other one to its left, and yet two more who approached her from behind in different directions.

Eupheria was freaking strong and cold. However, the situation is dire as she is surrounded by a horde of monsters.

And in a blink of an eye, I saw an attack aimed at her.

A magic shot pierces through me when I leap out to cover Eupheria. At that moment, I had no thought other than "I must protect my beloved girl".

Struck, I fall down right before her eyes. I finally had a chance to see my beloved girl from a close distance, and even sacrificed myself in order to save her. Now, my wish is fulfilled and I can leave the world peacefully.

However...

When I thought my soul had left my body, I realize that I am in a deep dark place with absolute darkness, no way in or out.

"Did I die?", I ask.

"No, but you almost died."

"Huh?"

"I had suspended the time-flow and brought you to my Plane of Euthymia."

Right before my eyes is a tall girl with glittering blonde hair and crimson-red eyes. She is Eupheria, the villainess in the game. Her high-tone voice and prideful look were so unique that no one could misidentify her.

"You are... Eupheria?"

"Huh? Who do you think you are, calling out my name without proper manners?"

Eupheria is the female character I adore so much in the game "Fairy Tales of Claretta", so... this means... I am reborn in this game world?

"Miss Eupheria."

"Right, that's how you must call my name." Eupheria snorted. "Commoners like you must know how to respect a noble like me."

"And... do you know my name?"

"Of course I do, your name is Thea Mondlicht, isn't it?"

In this game, people can freely choose a name for the protagonist, but the last name can only be Mondlicht. My first name is Thea, so my full name in this world is Thea Mondlicht.

Now, I gradually realize that I was reborn into another world, and this isn't the world I knew anymore.

"Have we completed the introduction? We must act quickly or you will die, my Plane of Euthymia only has effect during a limited timespan!"

"So, you know how to save my life?"

"Surely, I can bring you back to life with my power." She proclaims.

I knew Eupheria was a demon living in the human world, the only one of her kind. During the prologue, the protagonist is struck by the demon, and is brought back to life from near death by the villainess. However, I accidentally skipped that scene, and regretted it right after that.

"I'm going to ask you: would you like to become one with me?"

"What?" I can't believe in my hearing. Her offer is somewhat unimaginable.

"Your soul was on the verge of fading into nothing. Fret not, with my power, I could share my soul with you and become one with you."

"Become... one with you?"

"Yes. I was amazed that a mere human like you could throw her life away to save a demon like me. Therefore, I would give you a second life as a thank-you gift."

Eupheria reaches out her hand and looks at me with expecting eyes.

I have to think long and hard. I want to become a "property" of Eupheria in order to live closely with her and follow her everywhere, but I don't know what my life would be like if I were to accept her offer. I knew exactly what Eupheria's future was, so I tried my best to avoid it.

However, I have no choice left. I must accept her offer in order to save my life. Then I slowly reach out my hand towards Eupheria, but I hesitate, and Eupheria forcefully grabs my hand.

"Don't hesitate, Thea, you only have one chance. Should you reject it, you will regret it."

"Aah..." I sigh. "It seems that I have no choice but to accept your offer, Miss Eupheria."

"Ufufufu... wise choice, you have chosen the right and just master of your life. It is me, Eupheria!"

Light emits from my hand and Eupheria's. A ring suddenly appears out of nowhere on my finger. At the same time, I feel a surge of power bursting from me. This power is very strong and I have never experienced anything like that before.

"Ufufu, the contract is sealed. Now your soul will be mine....

...and my soul will be yours...

I hold Eupheria's hand firmly and say the oath all together.
