Jungkook's Pov
"Get in!" Jae-joon, my brother, he said. I was surprised that he's the one who picked me up from school.
"Jae, Hoseok hyung will come here in 5 days." I told him as I got into his car.
"Yeah, he called me an hour ago. I was in a meeting when he called me earlier. How's school?" He asked as he gestured me to put my seatbelt on.
"Good." I said as I my seatbelt on.
"So, are you hungry?" He asked.
"Yes, let's eat burger!"
"Burger, it is then.." He chuckled. He drove us to in-n-out and parked his car. I can say that I'm pretty close with Jae and since he's so busy working. He let me live with Jimin in an apartment that we share. Jae still lives in the same building but he's alone.
"How's work?" I asked him as we wait for our food.
"Great, pretty hectic but nothing that I can't handle." He said and I nodded.
"Do you miss mom and dad?" I asked.
"Of course, maybe we can go home this December." He said and I looked up to him.
"Really?"
"Yeah, why not? We can spend Christmas there instead of here." He nodded.
"Are you for real?"
"Yes, Jungkook. I'm serious, I'll book the tickets when we get home. I was going to tell you later but I guess I'm bad at keeping secrets." He smiled and I chuckled.
"I miss Daegu."
"Do you wanna go back for good?" He asked.
"Not yet, I still love being here but Daegu is home." I said and our number being called. Jae got up and grabbed our food. He came back and we decided to eat while talking about Daegu.
We had a great time and it's been a long time since we spend time together. He's been busy and I'm not blaming him at all. I'm glad that I have Jimin with me so I won't be lonely.
After eating with Jae, we both got home and when I arrived at Jae's floor. I saw Hoseok standing there with 3 luggages. He looked at the both of us with a big smile on his face. He ran to us and hugged us both.
"I miss you guys! You both have no idea!" He squealed.
"Miss you too, Hoseok!" I said.
"Miss you too.. bro!" Jae said.
"I thought you're coming here in 5 days! What the heck!" I squealed and he chuckled.
"I was coming here in 5 days, I was in Japan when I called you but instead of going to Daegu. I decided to buy a ticket straight here.. surprise!" He said and Jae clapped his hands.
"Good choice, bro."
"Where were you? Aren't you supposed to come home like.. 2 hours ago?" Hoseok looked at me suspiciously.
"I was with Jae, we had burgers!" I hissed.
"Ohhh good, now open the door. I really need to go to the toilet." Hoseok said pointing at the door. Jae put his passcode in and the opened the door. I helped Hoseok to put his luggages in. He ran to the toilet fast and I sat on the sofa.
"Kookie." I turned to Jae and he threw me his new bottle of shampoo.
"Thanks."
"Gotcha." I said.
"Should we hangout?" Hoseok asked as he walked out from the toilet.
"You're tired, get some rest and we can go tomorrow." Jae said.
"I agree." I yawned.
"I'm starving."
"I'll order you some food, what do you want?" He asked and Hoseok walked to him. They both are busy ordering and I looked up to the ceiling.
"After school, let's go shopping." Hoseok said as he plopped on the sofa next to me.
"Sure thing." I said as I closed my eyes.
"How about you, Jae?" Hoseok asked.
"I'll join you after that, I have a meeting when Kookie done with school."
"Okay, got it. Let's eat a lot of good food and shopping." He squealed. "Not to mention, I'll bake for you guys."
"Okay, get some rest little brother."
The next day
I walked early to school with Jimin because he has to submit something to the school magazine team. I told him to go first since I wanted to chill at the school garden. The morning breeze was so refreshing and I sat down on one of the benches in the garden.
I looked up to the sky and I can see the birds flying.
"I love this spot too." I jumped and turned to see Eunwoo standing in front of me with his hands in his pocket. I smiled and gestured him to sit beside me.
"I miss home." I said as he sat down.
"Home as in Daegu?" He asked.
"Yeah, I miss it. How about you?"
"Still enjoying Seoul. What's your first class today?" He asked.
"Sports." I sighed and he chuckled.
"Why? You don't like it? It's fun!"
"I don't hate it.. but I do hate volley."
"Do you like running?"
"Yeah I like it, wait! Correction, I like jogging not running." I said as I turned to him but he was already looking at me.
"You're adorable." He said as he patted my head.
"Let's go to class." I took his hand and pulled him into the building. We walked side by side and talked about home. Eunwoo is pretty cool and fun, I just wish Taehyung can be like him.
We entered the class and I looked at Taehyung. He was already glaring at me. Eunwoo walked to his seat behind Taehyung and he gave him a bro fist but it seems Taehyung is in a bad mood today. Since it's really early, it's just three inside the class. Eunwoo then told me he has to go to the office to get something so I was left wit Taehyung.. alone.
I walked to sit near the window and sat there looking at the empty soccer field. It's pretty awkward with Taehyung here. I got up and decided to buy him juice to start his day. I walked back to class and saw him sleeping. I smiled looking at him. I put the juice on his table slowly and sat down on my seat again.
Students started to fill the class and I turned to see Taehyung drinking the juice and I found myself smiling like an idiot.
"Drinking juice in the morning? That's new." One of his friend said. He turned to me and it was too late for me to avoid it. He knew huh?
"Whatever.." He said and he gave me a small smile then turned to his friends again. I found myself smiling like an idiot again as I turned away.
