As a new day begins, as the room for the God's annual meeting is filled with nothing but silence. Gods and Goddesses were missing from their posts, some never to return. Seeing how the meeting didn't seem to be going anywhere at all, Veto, the God of Death, speaks up first.
"Is this all this meeting will be?" He asked. "Silence and a self pity party?"
"I concur. We aren't making any semblance of progress when it comes to stopping this rampaging swordsman." Damien adds. "We need to do something about this."
"A bold call to action. But do you have any plan, God of Wisdom?" The Goddess of Forging and Metals, Enya, asked him, her voice deep.
"From the way this meeting is going, I doubt you have one yourself." Aileus, the God of All Suns, fires back at her.
"From silence to infighting. Very productive, everyone." The Goddess of War and Destruction claps from her seat.
"This isn't the time for sarcasm, sister." Aella, the Goddess of Music and Lust, chimes in next.
"E-Everyone, please calm down. We have cookies and cupcakes if you need to cool down." Hae speaks up, finally, unsure of how to diffuse the tension.
"Miss Hae is right, we shouldn't be fighting among ourselves...!" A relatively new Goddess, the Goddess of Storms Tine, talks next.
Tine is the newest member of the Divine currently. her hair was a light grey color done in shoulder length pigtails, wrapped in red ribbons. She wore a simply black mini dress, a short navy blue cloak over her shoulders and back, and navy blue ankle boots with gold colored soles. She also had a tome holster on the left side of her hips that held her Lightning magic tome.
"Yeah? Then you do something about it." Sora, the God of Disasters, smirks at Tine, who seemed to get frustrated just by hearing his voice.
"Hmm..." Veto narrows his eyes and stands up from his seat. "If you all would rather bicker than be productive, then I will excuse myself." He says and begins to walk out the door.
"Lord Veto, wait—!" Just as Tine was about to call to him, the door already shut, and he disappears into the shadows of the corridor.
"I have to agree with him on this one." Aileus was next to stand. "If this guy is as dangerous as they say, then I need to prepare. I'd be lying if I said I'm not excited, but I've got things to protect." He says and exits the meeting room next.
"Tsk... Typical of him. Then I'm out too." Enya leaves next, and soon, the room's occupants starts to disappear slowly, leaving Tine, Damien, Hae, and Cerys.
"That could have gone better..." Tine mutters, slumping in her chair.
"Don't worry, Tine. It's only your first year of a Goddess. You'll get used to all the pomp and circumstance in a couple hundred years." Damien says with a chuckle.
"Since nobody else seems to be taking this seriously, I suppose it will be up to us to solve this problem again." Cerys sighs.
"If anything happens, let us know, okay? We'll get through this together." Damien smiles and stands up. "I guess we can confidently say the meeting is adjourned?"
"Uh, yeah! Meeting adjourned!" Hae nods and floats back over to Cerys. The day had only barely begun, and things were about to get worse from here.

"A challenge, you say?" Aileus spoke up, as a pair of uninvited guests had appeared at his temple.
"Correct, O Mighty God of All Suns!" A ginger male says with a toothy grin. Behind the ginger was a pale man in a white suit and what seemed to be blue hands. "I, Kheios (pronounced as chaos), will be your opponent!" He adds with a mocking bow.
"Hah! You two wouldn't happen to be related to that Cursed Swordsman, would you?" Aileus asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Cursed Swordsman? Hahahahaha!! Whatever could you be talking about?! Are you talking about or good friend Claus? If you think I'm here purely on his orders, you couldn't be more wrong!" Kheios says with a hearty laugh, then straightens himself up to glare at Aileus. "I'm here cuz I hate you. Pure and simple as that." His voice dropped low, almost growling.
This definitely surprised the God, but he held a smirk, and stood up straight, adjusting his black hair just a little as it flares up, turning blonde like the sun. "Bring it on then."
"Hahahaha!! Sharp, my friend, we have hit the jackpot!" Kheios giggles with glee as his cloak seems to float.
"Remember, Kheios. We are only here to test his abilities." The pale man said, preparing his gun in his right hand.
"I know, I know, Sharp! But while we're here...!" Kheios shoots his arm forward as it turns into a black snake with glowing orange eyes. It opens its jaws and prepares to bite Aileus, but it quickly gets burned away. "Heh... Now this will be fun!"
