Amara has always been a strong kid. She had always been hyperactive but according to her-its just add more to her charms. Even after so many downfalls in her life. She thrives to overcome that but some incidents are very difficult to forget moreover to heal.
Amara's eyes abruptly opened as she felt something crawling on her. The feel of two men groping her. She was not okay. She was terrified. A single blow of wind and a small wave in curtains were enough to let her heartbeat reach the top.
One more blow of wind at the door and Amra was up. The night was windy with an upcoming thunderstorm warning. She hated it a lot more.
She wanted to get out of here. To feel safe. Her mind was reeling everything on repeat and she couldn't even get to sleep.
First thunderstruck and a small scream came out of her.She swiftly went out of the bed and covered herself with the blanket and dashed out of the door.
Her eyes were weary as she stood in front of the door next to hers. No one in the palace knew what had happened to her and she wanted to keep it that way. Before another thunder could she abruptly open the door and swiftly go inside it.
Her mouth gaped as she saw the owner of the room sprawled on the white sheets completely bare.
Her view was intruppted as she heard the cat voice. Her eyes immediately went to raven who was watching her like a pray.
Amara had not forgotten about the previous marks on her hands. Her eyes widen as the cat took steps towards her.
"Please Raven, spare me today. I am bruised enough. Yeah?"
Amara voice hushed as she still stood in front of the door with her back. Her voice was almost broken as her thrat clogged.
"Princess?"
Amara head snapped towards the owner of the voice as he sat up on the bed. He rubbed his eyes and Amara eyes struck on the view.
"Are you okay?"
Atharva asked looking directly at her. Her hair disheavled and her eyes looking straight at him.
"Apparently No, Your majesty. I just-"
Amara stopped in between her sentence as she couldn't find any valid reason to come here. He was not related to her so why had she came her at night? Why she felt so safe with him? How would she say to him that she was shit scared.
She sighed.
"I just don't want to be alone."
Amara eyes became meek as she said those words. Her eyes looking at floor. Her whole being felt so insulted by commiting to it.
"Come here."
Atharva said as he pulled out his one hand towards her. Still in nothing but a sweatpant. His body shined in the glistening moonlight coming from the window behind.
Amara eyes could help but take his ethereal beauty in. That king was simply enchanting. Her eyes were on him as she abruptly close them.
"Its not an issue. I am okay here. I will be out tomorrow morning."
Amara couldn't let her fall. Fall in whatever those feeling she was having. It was so much more than a simple comradship. It was much more than that.
"So you will be standing in front of my door all night."
Athrava raised his eyebrows.
"It seriously not an iss-"
"Raven"
