There has been a time skip :) it's just a day or two later and George had been ignoring Clay but Clay is trying to talk to George aggressively and softly
The first thing in the morning, before either of them woke up actually, the cops had arrived. It had now been two days since the main argument but the neighbours must've heard our little argument and slaps from last night and called the police. George opens the door after chucking on gray tracksuit pants and a light blue hoodie that fit him loosely.
George is confused for a second before remembering the fight him and Clay had had the night before and welcomed the police in offering them a coffee or tea but they had politely declined George's offer. The cops asked George is the mad he had bickered with last night was home and asked him to go get him and so George did. George woke up Clay with a hint of nervousness in his movement in Clays room.
He had got Clay to go downstairs and the two had sat on the couch.
The police officers ask about what happened last night and George explains it all including the part where Clay had slapped him then punched him making him pass out. Immediately after mentioning it George had regretted it. Because he loves Clay, he really does, but sometimes they get into fights like the one two days ago. Clay manipulated George into thinking arguments like that are normal for relationships because it was George's first one so George just took in what Clay said.
Clay ends up getting arrested for assault and verbal abuse and gets a jail time of two years and community service for three months.
