Jennie sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror, adjusting her outfit for her upcoming audition. She had been a trainee at the kpop company for a few years now, and the pressure to debut was getting to her. As she stepped out of the dressing room, she spotted Jisoo, another trainee, looking just as nervous as she was.
"Hey, Jisoo," she said, offering a small smile. "Nervous too?"
Jisoo nodded, biting her lip. "Yeah, it's just... I really want this, you know?"
"I know what you mean," Jennie replied, patting Jisoo's shoulder. "We've worked so hard for this."
As they waited for their turn to audition, Jennie couldn't help but steal glances at Jisoo. There was something about her that drew Jennie in - her infectious laugh, her determination, and the way she always made everyone around her feel at ease.
Weeks passed, and Jisoo finally confessed her feelings to Jennie one evening after a long day of practice. "I know this might be weird, but I really like you, Jennie," she said, nervously fiddling with her hands.
Jennie's heart skipped a beat, and she didn't know what to say. She had never considered that someone like Jisoo could have feelings for her. Things became awkward between them, and they started avoiding each other.
But fate had other plans for them. They were chosen to debut as a duo.
They knew they had to put their differences aside for the sake of their careers.
"Jennie, listen how about we just forget what happened.. I was young, immature and didn't think about the outcome it could bring to us. You know?"
She took a deep breath and continued," I am sorry for making things awkward between us.. I remember us being so close and..and-"
" I too shouldn't have just started to avoid you. I sincerely apologise for that."
" Okay let's forget about that too,so friends again?",Jisoo raised her hand in hopes of recieving a high five.
" Friends ". Jennie replied giving a high five.
Slowly, they started talking again, and their friendship grew deeper. They were a dynamic duo, always by each other’s side, pulling pranks on the other trainees and having fun nights at parties together.
One night, as they snuck out of a boring event, Jennie realized she was developing feelings for Jisoo. She watched as Jisoo went on dates with other idols, feeling a pang of jealousy each time.
One drunken night, Jennie confessed her feelings to Jisoo, only to pretend to forget everything the next morning. But Jisoo couldn't ignore the confession, and she made the difficult decision to move out of their shared apartment.
Jennie was heartbroken, and she knew she had to do something about it. With her heart pounding, she chased after Jisoo, finally catching her outside their building.
"Jisoo, please don't go," Jennie pleaded, her voice shaking. "I know I messed up, but I can't lose you. I love you, Jisoo."
Jisoo looked at her in shock, tears welling up in her eyes. "Jennie, I never stopped loving you. I just didn't think you felt the same way."
They held each other in a tight embrace, and from that day on, their friendship took a beautiful turn. They vowed to always be honest with each other and never let anything come between them again.
Their bond was stronger than ever, and they went on to debut as a duo, creating a life full of happiness for both of them. They were unstoppable, and they knew that as long as they were together, they could conquer anything.
