"Happy Birthday, Shu!" Valt exclaimed, peering over the door as he pushed his gift forward. Shu wasn't much for celebrating, but whenever his Valty would come down knocking on the door, it'd put a smile on his face.

He opens the door wide to find the bluenette with a red laced box, the biggest grin on his face reaching up to his ears. It made Shu's heart skip a beat, and all he could think of saying was thank you.

"Thank you, Valt. You always make my day," The albino chuckles, "How'd you remember this time? You always do something to remember it every year." And Valt blushed slightly. Last year, he placed 5 alarms the day before and on the date itself.

"I...I just saw your gift on my nightstand and remembered." He snickers, rubbing the back of his head. Shu blushes slightly but shakes it off. "Come in."

Valt rushes in, jumping up and down with his usual ecstatic energy. "It's nice to see you all happy. Let me open your gift." Shu snickers, walking over to the counter to unwrap the laces that covered the box.

"What am I to be expecting?" He asks, about the open it, and Valt runs up behind him with a grin. "Something you'll absolutely love."

And he did, he absolutely loved it. It was a new launcher, covered in a crimson tint with hints of gold and sparkles. "Valt, I love it, thank you." He answers, turning around to hug the shorter form. The scent of blueberry slashes his face, and both flushed a shade of red.

If they were being honest, they loved each other more than just friends, and they were waiting for one or the other to confess it.

"Shu-"
"Valt-"

They looked at each other once they both spoke up at the same time. "You first," Shu says, letting go of Valt. "I...I have another gift for you." And the albino raised a brow. "I don't think I could accept anything else." He chuckles, looking down at the bluenet.

"You'll like this one...At least, I-I hope." He stutters slightly, and Shu's eyes wandered across the room. He didn't have anything else in his hands, not even when he came into the apartment. "What is it?" Shu asks, a genuine look on his face of confusion.

And before the albino could say anything else, Valt got on his tippy toes, leaning in with his firm grip in Shu's shirt to kiss him, and Shu didn't hold back. He leaned in, lips meeting Valt's with a sudden movement from both, and the passion within them ignited.

"Shu~" Valt whimpered into the albino's mouth, and Shu took the moment to slip his tongue in, taking Valt aback for a split second. They had never had this type of contact, not with themselves nor with anyone else.

And it made them feel hungry, hungry for more. Shu pushed Valt backwards slowly, eventually backing him up against the wall and pinning him against it. The taller's hands roamed Valt's body, feeling every inch of the small boy's body, and Valt himself had no control, kissing his best friend with passion and melting into his arms.

"Mphm~" He mumbled, eventually letting the taller carry him and push his body into him. The albino could feel the bluenette's breath hitch in his throat as Shu planted kisses down his jaw, his neck, his collarbone...

"You're so gorgeous," Shu whispered, stopping for a moment to look up at Valt, whose face was blushing from ear to ear. "You know, this is the best birthday gift I've ever gotten." The albino says, eyes looking at the beautiful boy in front of him.
