I see the teenager with sandy blonde hair, sitting on an airport bench, whom I've known to love. its been about 3 months since I've last seen them. I was on a college hunt that was slightly out of state but near where Charlie is studying. They are your typical nerd but they are really good at sports. I jog over to where they are sitting with their head in a book as always. i crouch down so that they would see most of my face behind the book.
"boo!" I say. They jump getting startled and by doing that they lose their page.
"RIVER I DONT KNOW YOUR MIDDLE NAME MOSELY GET YOUR ARSE HERE KNOW!" And with that i run all the way out of the airport. They soon catch up so i hold their book high in the air so they couldnt reach.
"May i have my book back." They ask.
"Only for a kiss." I say smirking. their face went notably red. I knew they wouldnt leave their book but they also dont like showing affection in public because of the homophobes and from their last relationship. I could see them thinking but they walked back to the car.
once in there charlie leaned in to a kiss which I didnt mind one bit. they soon stopped and their face went red. i gave their book back and saw the title Heartstopper.
"dont forget your sisters baby shower today charlesy."
"know you brought that up what are we guessing it will be?"
"Short. the poor childs parents are shorter than 6 foot. Highschoolers are towering over them."
"true. Did you get the gift."
"yes." i pull a cute onesie saying 'Thats a bit queer: looks over at my gay uncles'.
"my sister will kill you."
"she wouldnt. hopefully."
