Chapter 1: The Mysterious Head of Liebert Family

"Eiji Liebert, the head of Liebert Family? Which Liebert that you are talking about?."

"Right. He is the 5th descendant of Johan Liebert, The Monster."

"WHAT?! How can he attend BLUE with this family background of his?? Expelled him now!!"

"But Sir. The principal are the only one who choose the students in BLUE."

"And she still choose that boy from that monster family?? Is she crazy?!"

A boy in a white shirt and dark blue vest stood outside the teacher's office, listening in from behind the door. With a mysterious smile, he continued down the hallways, carrying some files in his hand.

"You never fail to impress me, Sir Cleus. One can only hope that you and your master can continue your game of cat and mouse."

The boy checked the files as he walked, but he would soon meet his match in the form of someone he knew, but didn't know. With his head in the file, the boy bumped into someone standing in his path, causing him to look up and meet a familiar, yet unfamiliar face.

"I apologize for my lack of awareness, sir. I didn't see you standing there." He looked up to the figure and realised who the figure is.

"Ah, the student detective prodigy himself, Ron Kamonohashi stand in front of a mere student like me. How are you?" Eiji Liebert inquired with a smirk.

Ron shot his counterpart a look of pure disdain. "Don't call me that, Eiji Liebert, mental psychology prodigy. Every word out of your mouth is nothing but insults and mockery," he grumbled, his serious demeanour unshakeable.

"Don't mind my teasing, Ron," the boy with the files replied with a hint of smirk. "I only do it because I enjoy seeing you get all worked up."

Ron's serious look remained despite the boy's words. He couldn't believe that Eiji, of all people, was actually trying to be nice. "You always push my buttons, Eiji. Why can't you just leave me alone for once?" Ron asked through gritted teeth.

"Don't worry about me, Ron," the boy, Eiji, continued as he walked pass him. "I'll be leaving your life soon enough." He said with a cold and serious tone before continuing down the halls with the files still in his hands.

Ron stood there, still surprised at the unusual interaction with his rival. "What's gotten into him?" He wondered to himself, "I never thought I'd see Eiji, the one person who never listened to a word I said, actually went along with my words without a fight."
