Eiji sighed, "So did he say anything about the task he asked me to do five years ago?"

Winter looked at him and then glanced at the park in front of them. "He said that you did a great job," Winter replied in a deep but controlled voice. "On attempting to kill yourself," she added, reaching out and sliding up Eiji's sleeve to reveal the bandages covering his arm. Eiji just silent and sweat dropped as he look at Winter.

"I guess you caught me," Eiji sighed, covering his arm with his sleeve once again. "Did he tell you about the task he gave me five years ago? Because I knew for a fact that I strengthened my security in my house, especially for a sneaky girl like you," he chuckled.

Winter looked away, her cheeks slightly blushing with embarrassment. "Well, brother did tell me about the letter. He said that in the letter is..." Before she could finish her sentence, Eiji interrupted her. "You don't need to say what's inside the letter. I believe you are telling the truth," he said with a smile as he looked at the kids playing at the playground, even though it was cold outside.

"...Yes, Eiji," Winter said, looking at him for a moment before offering her hand. "Let's go for a walk. I can send you home after that," she said with a smile, reaching out to the brown-haired person in front of her.

From an outsider's perspective, it may have appeared as a handsome man offering his hand to a beautiful woman to go for a walk, but in Eiji and Winter's perspective, it was akin to a handsome woman offering her hand to a beautiful man, instead.

Eiji and Winter walked through a park filled with sakura trees, the flowers creating a beautiful pink tunnel around them. Eiji smiled as he walked with Winter close behind. They chatted along the way, with Winter enjoying the beauty of the surroundings. Eiji noticed her enjoying the view and asked, "How do you know this place exists? I thought this is your first time in Japan?"

Winter replied with a cheeky smile, "Well, I do my research on a country before walking with you there." Then she surprised Eiji by putting a flower crown on his head. Surprised, Eiji reached up to touch the crown on his head, exclaiming, "A flower crown? Isn't this the pink roses that I received from someone earlier?" Winter nodded, confirming his suspicion.

Eiji smiled wistfully and said, "What nostalgic memories... We used to make flower crowns with Alice all the time when we were kids. We would sing the Humpty Dumpty song under a tree, even when I was busy with my academy homework."

Winter smiled sympathetically and replied, "Yes, it's always fun to relive happy memories from the past. But it's not much fun when someone interrupts the moment." She paused and then shoved Eiji to the ground to avoid any oncoming bullets in their direction.
