"I'm never leaving you."
Excuse me while I laugh at this deceptive sentence. This, in my opinion is a transparent lie that ruins lives. People say this without exception and never keep their word.
Eventually, everyone will leave you in the end. There is no such thing as them staying by your side. Wether it be your friends or wether it be the boy with brown eyes. They will all leave you in the end and you have to learn to pick yourself up and not in any condition depend your happiness in people.
Promises are meant to be bashed anyway. But before any of that, after realizing what words do to you. I finally understand why storms are named after people. I can finally fathom why it hurts so much after realizing that the storm of words they say will turn into the poetry you write when they leave.
How eveything will burn into ashes and get blown away by the wind. How you'll sink down to the floor and let tears fall and it's all because you were decieved into the lie that they would never leave you.
So, this is lie number 1. :)
