Lapsus Linguae - Blade, Dan Heng

10. Omega

"One week! I missed you so much!" Caelus was literally hugging Dan Heng's leg.

Dan Heng literally passed another week closed in his apartment, cooking and sometimes ordering take out. Surely he kept studying and get news from his family about the economy, how the products were selling and sometimes even helped with some datas. Considering the big time zone difference, it was hard to have a proper talk with his family.

The heat was really annoying as for most of the day Dan Heng would end up wrapped in the blankets in his bed, trying to just hold himself or distract. It was surely an hassle, but it was his nature so there was nothing to do.

Maybe it was because of his heat, but he could sense sometimes Blade's presence stopping by for a moment in front of the door of his apartment like he wanted to actually talk to him in person, but in the end the two haven't talked much even per messages after that night the two got a little bit mad at each others.

Finally, the day after the heat cycle, he was back to university.

"Stop it, goddamit, you're so messed up" Dan Heng couldn't help but laugh at Caelus drama act, as Jian and Stelle were recording and eating a pack of snacks.

"Post it and tag half of the University" Jian told Stelle, who looked at him with an obvious gaze

"Roger that"

Caelus sighed "You're always so fucking trash to me, one week without our pizzaPastaMandolino man" he mocked Dan Heng who couldn't help but literally hit him with his book

"That's the most awful and annoying nickname" Dan Heng grit his teeth and Caelus looked at him with teary eyes

"You do not appreciate me and my memes I send you on instagram, and now even the nicknames I give you" he sighed and Dan Heng closed his eyes for a moment showing off his nervous tick at the angle of his lips

"BECAUSE THEY'RE TRASH" he exclaimed to then roll his eyes as Caelus acted like he was tearing up just to make him even more embarassed.

"Man, you seriously look like an omega" Jian mocked Caelus who showed him his middle finger

"Shut up" he said to then stand up and look at Dan Heng "So, is it today you will run against Blade?"

Dan Heng smiled nervously to then look at Jian, who looked like a coach who was shouting "YES, DO IT, MAKE YOUR DREAM COME TRUE"

Dan Heng sighed "Seems so" he said and Caelus and Stelle clapped happily

"I can't wait to know how it did go, do your best! I will cheer for you from my volleyball club" he said and Stelle leant on his brother's chest

"And I will cheer for you underwater, if I die, I will haunt you all" she said, showing a sign of peace.

"Hah! Of course he will win, he did beat me" Jian said with a proud stare, making them laugh. It was probably one of the few times he'd say that with pride and not madness.

"You're all so sure" Blade in that moment walked past them with his group, looking as always fine and with an aura that would literally warn anyone to not even think to approach him.

"Hey little one! I heard you're good at running, but maybe you overstepped" commented one of Blade's friends and Dan Heng stroke his own hair

"I think you all are taking things too seriously again" he smiled warmly to then look at Blade, who did avoid his stare, making him even more embarassed.

"Ignore them, they always mock whoever beta or omega comes to Blade or tries to get closer" Jian explained as he leant his arm around his shoulder, to then leave a smirk towards the other alpha, who wanted to kill him with the stare.
