A FANCY LIMOUSINE PULLS UP at st. jude's, surprising a certain blair waldorf when it isn't chuck bass stepping out in full grandeur. instead, a girl the same height as blair steps out, with her obviously legit docmartens and matching school bag. she's definitely into me or something, said girl thinks, eyeing the waldorf girl with equal  sincerity.

"nice shoes. I'm blair, blair waldorf. you're new here."

huh. she had spoken as if she was a hundred percent sure that lolette was new, and lolette was rather impressed by that.

"aoki. lolette aoki, but my friends call me lola or something."

"well, lola or something, are we friends?" the brunette stuck out her hand.

"for now." lolette gladly took it, not seeming to sense the other watchful eyes on her.

"YOU'RE LOLETTE AOKI. OH. MY. GOSH!" isabel practically squealed. lolette smiled, pleased that she brought something from home. be it her parents' fame, at least it was familiar.

"your mom is sooooo pretty!" kati complimented.

the quartet were currently at a dinner party, with dozens of other elite teens doing their usual teenager activities. "so what were you doing before coming here?"

"well you know, parties, concerts, the usual. days at the beach and stuff, the typical california girl life. what else can I say?" lolette tried to play it cool, not drawing any attention whatsoever to the fiasco that forced her to move all the way to new york.

blair sees this as an opportunity to bring up her past.

"what made you move to the upper east?"

lolette cleared her throat and rehearsed the answer she'd practiced in the mirror that day.

"well, my dad's having this really long world tour soon, so he was all like 'go chill out and have fun with your mother and her model life in new york!' and well, the house in cal can get pretty lonely sometimes, so I came here," she coolly explained, as perfect as an actress.

blair hummed, and a brunette boy entered the conversation.

"blair, you didn't tell me we had fresh blood!" he exclaimed, eyeing lolette from head to toe, to which the girl merely raised a brow in response.

CRASH!

"well at least it ain't real diamond like what's hanging from your ears there." the unnamed male joked, looking at the crystal chandelier which almost fell on lolette if the male hadn't protectively pulled her aside.

the first words that left her lips were "how could you joke at a time like this?" before she started laughing. blair, kati and isabel were long gone now, and the two were left alone with "copacabana" by barry manilow playing in the background.

CHUCK BASS could only watch. watch as her lips parted in sheer shock at his words. watch her throw her head back and star laughing. at how her eyes seemed to gleam like the diamonds she wore.

of course he knew who she was. he was obsessed with kenjiro aoki's band and music. so obsessed till the point that he'd begun to grow obsessed with his daughter and buy vogue magazines of her.

call him insane, but chuck bass would never, ever want a girl as much as he wanted lolette aoki. at first he blamed it on her physical appearance, but seeing her in person, walking up to her upfront and talking to her was simply....exhilirating.

"I'm-" she began to introduce herself, but he was so captivated that he cut her off.

"lolette aoki," taking her by surprise yet again.

chuck smiled, a bit insanely, and took her by the hand. copacabana was still playing in the background.

"shall we dance, lola?"

HE INTRODUCED HIMSELF AS CHUCK BASS. he asked whether I had a boyfriend. and obviously, I could tell what he was thinking.

obviously, he wanted a one night stand.

I told him that I wasn't interested in anyone at the moment, and that I wasn't really keen on a relationship at the time. he relaxed at the first comment, but furrowed his brows at the second, leaving me with confusion.

I didn't question how he knew my name, but I did, however question his intentions. as we swayed to the music, I could feel his grip on my waist tighten slightly, though I was comfortable with it.

it was like I was at the edge of the world, and he was holding me back from it with just enough strength that I wouldn't fall. I feigned ignorance on how his attention seemed to alway be on my lips, and didn't question it.

I looked at him just like how he looked at me, and honestly then and there, if a one night stand was what he wanted, I didn't mind giving it. as long as he knew that there was no more to it then it just being that. a one night stand.

Hey upper east siders, Gossip Girl here.

It seems like a newcomer has joined the uptight and dare I say elite society in the upper east. Meet Lolette Aoki, daughter to the megafamous Ken Aoki and even more famous supermodel, Adelaide Kane-Aoki. Yup, you heard it folks!

Former Californian girl, Lolette was spotted on shopping trips with B and her two other lackeys (on the same day Lolette joined St.Judes, damn that girl is quick!) and was later seen at B's dinner party. She seems to be B's new BFF, or so it seems.

Not only that, that Cali girl's as fast as a sports car when it comes to the dating scene. She was also seen leaving B's party with her hand entangled with none other than Chuck Bass!

Still, the question remains unanswered—is Lolette the new Serena, or so much more?

And who am I? That’s the secret I'll never tell. The only one.

xoxo,
Gossip Girl.
